The Highest is not attainable through one's own ego-effort, but only through divine grace, which is bestowed upon the one who performs all actions with surrender to God and seeks refuge in Him.

You do not attain the Highest through your own effort. Your own effort is the effort of the ego. The ego cannot become the Highest through ego-efforts. The Highest is ultimately experiential through divine grace.

The text expounds Bhagavad Gita 18,56 and presents surrender to Krishna as the path to attaining divine grace. The central message is that the Highest is not experiential through one's own ego-effort, but through God's grace. The speaker compares Krishna with Jesus and emphasizes that surrender to an incarnation of God is equivalent to surrender to God Himself. It calls for accepting all actions and experiences as God's task and seeking refuge in God. The text encourages patience on the spiritual path and understanding highs and lows as part of the divine way. The present-day relevance lies in the concrete instruction to regard daily tasks and irritations as divine tasks and to offer everything to God.

Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 18, Verse 56. Sarva Karamanya Pisa da Kurva No Madhya Pras Shriyaha Madh Prasa Dat Abhapnoti Shashvatam Padam Avayam. Krishna, the Teacher, speaks to Arjuna. When he performs all actions after having taken refuge in me, he attains through my grace the eternal indestructible state of being. Here Krishna speaks about how one can experience God. How does one come to this Bhakti, to this devotion? Krishna, Avatar, incarnation of God, he speaks as taking refuge in me. He speaks, as Jesus also said, I am the way and the truth. God manifests again and again as Avatar, as incarnation. If you have devotion to an Avatar, an incarnation of God, that is just the same as if you have devotion to God himself. Therefore perform all actions and experience all karma with devotion to God. By performing all actions after having taken refuge in God, you attain through the grace of God the eternal indestructible state of being. So accept your karma as the task of God. Now think about which tasks I have today. Think in particular, is there anything that bothers you and irritates you. Be aware, it is the task of God for you. Be aware of everything you have to do today. Be aware that it is the task of God upon you. Do it for God. Then take refuge in God. You do not need external securities. It is not necessary that people behave in a certain way. It is not necessary that external things develop the way you would like them to. You can take full refuge in God. You can be aware that everything is God and it is a refuge in God. Then you experience divine grace. That is also something important. You do not attain the Highest through your own effort. Your own effort means effort of the ego. The ego cannot become the Highest through ego-efforts. The Highest is ultimately experiential through divine grace. You can do a lot for it and then entrust yourself entirely to the grace of God. Accept your karma. Accept your tasks. Do what needs to be done, as well as you can. Take refuge in God. Do everything for God. Trust in the grace of God. God will lead you through various experiences. We must all make all human experiences before we experience the Highest. So be patient as well. You will go through highs and lows. You will perhaps also seemingly step away from the spiritual path at times. You will perhaps also feel hurt in between. Be aware, everything is part of the divine path. Accept everything. Accept everything as a task. Accept everything as an experience of God. Think of God again and again. Bring everything to God. And then trust in divine grace. When you feel the grace of God, then let yourself fall into it. This divine grace brings you into the Highest and nourishing sign. Into the highest indestructible state of being.

Baggabad Gita 18. Kapitel 56. Also nimm dein Karma an als Aufgabe Gottes. Nimm dein Karma an. Nimm deine Aufgaben an. Sei also auch geduldig. Nimm alles an. Nimm alles als Aufgabe an. Nimm alles als Erfahrung Gottes an. Denke immer wieder an Gott.
