The Quran – Our Guide for Life
(07.08.2026)
My brothers and sisters! Dear believers!
The Quran is the Word of Allah and the most truthful of all words.1 It is the greatest guidance that Allah has sent to all of humanity.2 The Quran is healing.3 It grants peace to hearts and gives direction to life.4 Whoever holds fast to it finds the right path. Whoever, however, abandons it, becomes lost. Allah says the following about the Quran: “Allah has sent down the best statement, a consistent book with repeated explanations. The skin of those who fear their Lord trembles before it. Then their hearts and their skin find rest in the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah, with which He guides whom He wills, and whom Allah misleads, he has no one to guide him.”5
Dear Muslims!
Our Prophet (s) encouraged learning and teaching the Quran with the words: “The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it,”6 He himself listened to the verses conveyed by the Angel Jibril (Gabriel) (as) with the greatest reverence and subsequently transmitted them to his companions. Once one has learned to read the Quran, one should read it regularly. The Messenger of Allah (s) frequently recited the Quran and said: “Whoever memorizes and reads the Quran will be with the noble angels. And whoever strives to read the Quran regularly, even if it is difficult for him, receives double reward.”7 If one has learned the recitation of the Quran and can recite it from memory, one should preserve what has been memorized, understand the meaning of the verses, and live accordingly. When the Prophet (s) heard a Quranic recitation, he was deeply moved, and tears came to his eyes.8 And he (s) said: “Whoever learns the Quran, recites it, and acts according to it, is like a vessel full of musk, whose fragrance spreads in all directions.”9
Dear brothers and sisters!
Let us strengthen our bond with the Quran. Let us learn and teach it. Let us fill our ears and our hearts with the Quran by reading and listening to it frequently. Let us shape our lives according to its guidance. Let us transmit the love for the Quran to our children. Let us teach them not only to read it, but also to understand it and carry it into their lives. Let us not forget that through the connection with the Quran, our heart is revived, our soul and our body find healing, our family attains peace, and we will receive the following glad tidings from our Prophet (s): “Read the Quran, for it will come forth as an intercessor for its reader on the Day of Resurrection.”10

Der Koran – Unser Wegweiser für das Leben
(07.08.2026)
Meine Geschwister!
