Early rising and morning meditation are the foundation of an effective spiritual practice, and one should show oneself to other people only after meditation in order to raise one's own prana and not harm others.
The text conveys spiritual instructions from the context of the yoga tradition, which emphasize early rising and morning meditation. As a source, a book by Swami Sivananda is mentioned, which contains 20 instructions on the essence of yoga. The speaker emphasizes that early rising makes meditation easier because the surroundings are still quiet. He recommends sitting for half an hour facing east or north and practicing japa and meditation. The duration should be gradually increased to three hours. It is advised against showing oneself to other people before one has meditated, since one should first raise one's own prana. The text is addressed to people who live in an ashram or arrive there, and it encourages them to meditate in the morning and in the evening in order to fill the day with joy and spirituality.

And now here is Shibara. From the book Saadana by Sankh Shibamanda. 20 important instructions to the guidelines. These 20 instructions contain the true essence of Yoga Saadana. Karma, Bakhti, Nyanah, and Raja Yoga, they all are bestowed upon the one who practices them earnestly. These 12 instructions are the key to rapid progress and to the development of the physical, mental, moral, and spiritual side of the human being. Start right away with: Hari, I get up every day at 4 o'clock. This is Brahmamurta and is extremely beneficial for Versadana. Do spiritual Saadana all morning from 4 to 6 or 7 o'clock. We now have a great advantage. We are on summer time, so now it is actually a quarter past 6 o'clock. If he does Brahmamurta at 6 o'clock in the morning, he is actually doing it at 5 o'clock and it fits in a bit. The essential point is that if we get up early, it is easier to meditate. If we get up earlier than most other people, the atmosphere is quiet. The thought atmosphere is not yet characterized by all possible desires and driven activities. So getting up early is good. So do not get up only at 6 or 7 or 8 o'clock. There are some who are relatively new here. They may have arrived in the Ashram for the first time yesterday. Then come in any case at 7 o'clock for meditation. Do not miss the morning meditation and then look around at 9 or 15. You can sleep in until then for the yoga class. Of course, you can do that too. But if you want to have a full effect, it is good to get up early in the morning. Second. Sit for half an hour facing East or North or whichever direction suits you, and perform Japa and meditation. Gradually increase the duration to 3 hours. So half an hour is already good. If you want to do it longer, you can also go to the Chivalra. There is a session at 5 o'clock in the morning. 5 o'clock is then actually 4 o'clock. That is really the perfect time. And then you have an hour and a half of meditation scheduled, with a bit of mantras and concluding with a bit of mantras. In the meantime, you can either practice a few minutes of walking meditation or sit the whole time. One should not show oneself to other people in the morning before one has meditated. That is a kind of compassion for other people. Some of you sit in the subway at 6 or 7 or 8 o'clock on the way to work, there is the... One should actually raise one's Prana before going among people. This also applies to those who live in the Ashram and say, yes, I meditate here in the evening. One should not do this to others, going among people without meditation. And of course for oneself, if we meditate in the morning, we have already established a spiritual rhythm, which we can then develop throughout the day. I believe these are already good suggestions. So meditate in the morning and meditate in the evening too, and thus fill the day with joy and spirituality.

Und na ma ist Shibara ja. Aus dem Buch Saadana von Sankh Shibamanda. 20 wichtige Spürre to the Anweisungen. Also früh aufstehen ist gut. Also halbe Stunde ist schon mal gut.
