The cultivation of love and the experience of the Divine are achieved through selfless service, the sharing of one's possessions, and the constant conscious dedication to the divine will in everyday life.

Doing good to others is the highest form of religion. Each week, devote several hours to selfless service without expecting anything, without self-use and without expectation of any reward.

The text reads from the book 'Saadhana' by Swami Sivananda the section 'Discipline of the Heart' and explains it. The central message is that selfless service and the sharing of one's own possessions with others represent the highest form of religion. It is recommended to give a portion of one's income for charitable purposes and to fulfill worldly duties in the spirit of worship. Another core point is the constant experience of God in everyday life, for example through regular remembrance of God upon waking, during breaks, and before going to sleep. The speaker emphasizes that practical practice is more important than pure theory and advises small but clear steps in personal development. The instructions are directed at the inner life of the individual, who is to overcome self-seeking and cultivate love. There is a call to trust the divine will and to surrender oneself completely to God.

I want to read something from the book Saadhana by Swami Sivananda from the chapter The Science of the Seven Disciplines Saadhana Tattva from the section Discipline of the Heart. Doing good to others is the highest form of religion. Every week, spend several hours in selfless service without expecting anything, without self-interest and without expectation of any reward. Obligate yourself, perform even your worldly duties in this spirit. Work is worship, because he sees God. Give two to ten percent of your income each month to charitable purposes. Share what you have with others. Let the world be your family, eliminate selfishness. Be humble, bow mentally before all beings. Feel the presence of God everywhere. Give up vanity, pride and pettiness. Have unshakable faith in God, the Bhagavad Gita and your Guru. Surrender yourself completely to God and say, thy will be done, I wish for nothing. Bow to the divine will and to all circumstances with a calm spirit. See God in all beings, love them as your own self. Hate no one. Always think of God or at least when getting up. During a break in between and before you go to bed, carry a Japanese in your pocket, it reminds you of God. A wonderfully beautiful tip, to open the heart, to feel love. We must always see at the beginning where the whole thing was initiated, is a cramp practice better than ton theory. And then at the beginning make some resolutions that you can also keep and that represent a small but clear progress compared to your present habits and a character. So also advance with small steps. And now Discipline of the Heart, of course cultivation of love. The previous chapter was more about Discipline of the Will, which is also something important. But this chapter about Discipline of the Heart is a bit longer than the foreword. Obviously he wants to further develop it. And there are two aspects there. Selfless service, doing good to others and sharing what we have with others. And the second is, to see God everywhere and to trust in God, to ask for God's help. And so we can every morning and every noon and every evening on the one hand consider how can I do good to others. We can also check ourselves. Many of the attendees make a beautiful whole day of good, be it there, they live in Marschraum and we are indeed Marschrammung doing good. There is by the way nothing that we do not do to do good to others. But many others are also active in social, in caring, in healing professions. And then you also do nothing else and there are other professions. But there you can also consider, am I really doing it selflessly? Or do I expect that others recognize me for it? Am I offended if I do not get enough return, not enough energy exchange, as it is called nowadays, so not enough money for it. Rich? There we can look. Of course, one has for everything possible, so I make sure that something fair goes, only that does not help then to open the heart. In addition to what perhaps is exchange and what is also necessary, for many people at least. How much do I do for others, without expecting anything for it, without getting anything external back? For that we receive love, for that we receive joy, for that we ultimately receive the experience of God. The second aspect, this section about Discipline of the Heart, to experience love, is to offer everything to God, to see God in everything. In the morning, at noon, in the evening at least and in breaks or if possible always, to turn to the Divine and say, thy will be done, I trust you, let me experience you, let me perceive your presence, tell me what you want from me.

Hasse niemanden.
