Zinâ is one of the most dangerous sins that threatens society and can only be prevented by observing divine rules and promoting marriage.

The text is an Islamic sermon that warns against zinâ (forbidden sexual intercourse) and presents it as a dangerous evil for society. The speaker relies on Quranic verses and hadiths to underscore the gravity of this sin. He emphasizes that God has given human beings intellect to distinguish good from evil, and that observing divine rules leads to happiness in this world and the next. Marriage is recommended as a remedy, with the speaker warning against rejecting those who wish to marry due to a lack of wealth. In the second address, the speaker condemns a statement from the vicinity of Mardin, which attributes a mouth to God and equates him with the wind, as unbelief. He calls the listeners to righteousness, to the fear of God, and to the fulfillment of their duties. The text combines theological foundations with concrete societal warnings and instructions for action.

Praise is due to Allâh, the Exalted. We praise Him, seek His support, guidance, and forgiveness. May Allâh protect us from committing sins. The one whom God has guided will not go astray, and the one whom God has led astray will not find guidance. I bear witness that there is no god except Allâh, the One, Who has no partner and to Whom nothing and no one is comparable. And I bear witness that our honored, beloved, and great Prophet Mu h ammad is the servant and messenger of God. He conveyed the message and admonished the community, may Allâh reward him more than all other prophets. O Allâh, grant the Prophet Mu h ammad and his Âl a higher rank, just as You granted the Prophet Ibrâhîm and his Âl a high rank. And grant the Prophet Mu h ammad and his Âl blessings, just as You granted the Prophet Ibrâhîm and his Âl blessings. You are the One Who is described with perfect power and grace, and the One Who has the right to be praised. Allâhu Ta^âlâ says in Sûrah al-Isrâ´, Âyah 32: ﴿وَلَا تَقۡرَبُواْ ٱلزِّنَىٰٓۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فَٰحِشَة وَسَآءَ سَبِيلا ٣٢﴾ The meaning is: … and do not approach fornication, indeed it is an immorality and an evil way. Allâh created man and gave him certain needs and desires, so that man generally strives to attain them. Allâh also created much that is beneficial for man, with which man can cope with difficult situations. However, Allâh did not permit man to use the beneficial things that Allâh created for man in a way that suits all his inclinations and desires, but only in accordance with the rules He has revealed. Allâh sent the prophets to enlighten people and teach what leads to happiness in this world and bliss in the Hereafter. Moreover, Allâh distinguished the life of humans from the life of animals by giving humans intellect, enabling them to distinguish good from evil and beneficial from harmful. Therefore, Allâh did not impose responsibility on animals, but on humans; thus, man is obligated to adhere to the rules that Allâh has imposed upon him, so that he leads a life of honor in this world and is spared from the punishment of God in the Hereafter. This is the correct conduct, and not the demands of those who encourage man to surrender to his inclinations and desires, especially forbidden gazes, as well as forbidden touching and forbidden sexual intercourse. Why should one be encouraged to do so, when one can satisfy one’s desire in a proper, Allâh-permitted manner?! Our Creator has permitted marriage and established foundations and rules for it; the one who observes and properly applies them satisfies his desire without infringing upon the rights of others. The one who does not observe the rules of the Islamic religion and strives to satisfy his greed, in whatever way, is led by the devil to commit forbidden sexual intercourse ( a z - Z inâ ), which is an abominable sin. There is no doubt that a z - Z inâ belongs to the most dangerous sins and to the devastating sins that threaten society. A z - Z inâ and the sins leading to it have spread greatly worldwide in today’s time. This is a great scourge and a great catastrophe that has befallen our young generation and has spread among people. Al-Bukhâriyy reported that ^Abdu l-Lâh Ibn Mas^ûd asked the Messenger of God ﷺ about the greatest sin, and the answer of the Prophet ﷺ (in meaning) was: Disbelief! He asked about the next one, and the Messenger of God ﷺ said (in meaning): Killing! Then he asked about the next one, and the Prophet ﷺ said (in meaning): Zinâ with the wife of your neighbor! This H adîth teaches that disbelief is the greatest sin, and that after it comes unlawful killing, and after that a z - Z inâ. The Prophet ﷺ said (in meaning) zinâ with the wife of your neighbor, because zinâ with the neighbor's wife is more abominable, as it entails violating the right of a neighbor. Z inâ was often the cause of a bad reputation, destruction, injury, murder, the splitting of families, the tearing apart of siblings, and the severance of contact among friends and relatives. For this reason, Allâh, the Exalted, has forbidden z inâ in all Scharâ´i^, i.e., the regulations He has revealed to the Prophet, so it was never permitted. Moreover, every Prophet has warned against it and clarified its dangers. The Prophet Mu h ammad ﷺ encouraged protecting oneself from z inâ by advising young people to marry. Furthermore, he urged his community to marry off those who are willing to marry, are religiously oriented, and have good character, i.e., not to consider their little wealth or the small amount of the bride price. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: The meaning is: If a person willing to marry, whose religion and character you accept, i.e., who is religious and strong in character, comes to you, then marry him off. If you do not do so, then this will cause affliction (Fitnah) and widespread corruption on earth. If one does not adhere to this, but refuses to marry off the person to whom the aforementioned description applies, because much wealth or special status or special reputation among people is sought, then there is the danger of the spread of great evil on earth. The conclusion is: The good is within the limits of Islamic jurisprudence, and the basis of wisdom is the fear of Allâh. Praise belongs to Allâh at all times. The Second Sermon Praise belongs to Allâh, the Exalted above the attributes of creation. There is no god except Allâh. We worship Him alone sincerely and we associate no partner with Him. Praise belongs to Allâh, the Creator of the universe. A s - S alâtu and as-Salâmu upon our honored Prophet Mu h ammad and all other messengers and prophets. May the love of God be bestowed upon the wives of the Prophet ﷺ, as well as upon the Muslim relatives of the Prophet, the righteous caliphs Abû Bakr , ^Umar , ^Uthmân and ^Aliyy, the rightly guided scholars Abû H anîfah , Mâlik , asch-Schâfi^iyy and A h mad, and the saints (Awliyâ´). Then, servants of God, I call you and myself to righteousness and to the fear of Allâh, the Exalted and Almighty. Brothers in Islam, among the statements that must be warned against is a statement by people living in the vicinity of Mardin. They say: God said with His beautiful mouth: Do not insult the wind, I am the wind. This is disbelief! The sentence contains two parts that are disbelief. One part is that God would have a mouth, for God is not a body and has no body parts. In the other part, God is referred to as wind. Whoever has said this must immediately pronounce the declaration of faith so that he returns to Islam. And know that Allâh called you to something important. He called you to recite A s - S alât and as-Salâmu for the Prophet. Allâh, the Exalted, says in Sûratu l-´A hz âb, verse 56: ﴿Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, send blessings upon him and greet him with a proper greeting. 56﴾ O Allah, grant the Prophet Muhammad and his family a higher rank, just as You granted the Prophet Ibrahim and his family a high rank. And grant the Prophet Muhammad and his family blessings, just as You granted the Prophet Ibrahim and his family blessings. You are the One who is described with perfect power and mercy, and the One who has the right to be praised. Allah, the Exalted, says in the Holy Quran: ﴿O mankind! Fear your Lord! Indeed, the earthquake of the Hour is a tremendous thing. On the Day you will see it, every nursing mother will be distracted from what she nurses, and every pregnant woman will drop her burden, and you will see the people in a state of intoxication, but they are not intoxicated; but rather, the punishment of Allah is severe. 1-2﴾ The meaning is: O people, be among the righteous. Indeed, on the Day of Judgment, tremendous events will occur. On that Day, every nursing mother will forget her infant, every pregnant woman will lose what she carries, and people will be considered intoxicated, although they are not; but the punishment of God is very severe. O Allah, we ask You to fulfill our supplication, to forgive our sins and mistakes, to let us belong to the rightly guided, and not to those who have gone astray. O Allah, we ask You to remove our worries and sorrows from us and to protect us from what we fear. Servants of God, Allah calls for justice, good conduct, and maintaining kinship ties, and He forbids obscenities, evil, and injustice. This is an admonition so that you may reflect. Perform the duties and refrain from sins, ask God for forgiveness and trust in God, be righteous, and He will remove your worries and distress from you. Aqimi s-Salah! (Call the Iqamah)

Allâh, der Erhabene, sagt in Sûratu l-´A hz âb, Âyah 56: ﴿إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِيِّۚ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ صَلُّواْ عَلَيۡهِ وَسَلِّمُواْ تَسۡلِيمًا ٥٦﴾ O Allâh, gebe dem Propheten Mu h ammad und seinen Âl einen höheren Rang, so wie Du dem Propheten Ibrâhîm und seinen Âl einen hohen Rang gegeben hast. A q imi s - S alâh !
