Whoever knows the great reward of Paradise will find it easy to persevere in obedience and avoid sins.
The text is an Islamic sermon on the rivers of Paradise. It begins with the Basmala, praise, supplication, and a declaration of faith. The preacher describes Paradise using Quranic verses and hadiths: palaces of pearls, ground of musk, rivers of water, milk, wine, and honey. He distinguishes linguistically between rivers flowing "from beneath them" and rivers flowing "under them" and derives from this different levels of the inhabitants of Paradise. The Nile and the Euphrates are named as visible rivers whose origin comes from Paradise. Al-Kawthar is described as a special river for the followers of the Prophet. The text calls for patience, perseverance in obedience, and the avoidance of sins, because the great reward of the Hereafter gives strength.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, the Exalted. We praise Him, seek His help, seek His guidance, and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah, the Exalted, from the evils of our own souls and from the evil of our deeds. Whomsoever Allah, the Exalted, guides, there is none who can misguide him, and whomsoever He misguides, there is none who can guide him. And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His messenger, His chosen one from among His creation and His intimate friend. He conveyed the message, fulfilled the trust, advised the Ummah, and Allah, through him, removed the distress. So send down blessings and peace upon the master of your messengers, our master Muhammad, and upon his family and his companions, and upon whoever follows his guidance and takes his Sunnah as a model and follows in his footsteps until the Day of Judgment.
O you who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims.
My beloved ones in Allah, with the description of Paradise and its attributes, we ask Allah, the Exalted, to admit us into Paradise without prior punishment or reckoning. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saw Paradise and described it for us, and this is something we need every day so that we may be patient in obeying Allah, patient in refraining from disobeying Allah, and patient through trials. No human being can be patient unless he knows the reward of patience and steadfastness. When he knows what awaits him of abiding bliss in the abode of eternity, we ask Allah to grant us the highest level of Paradise, then it becomes easy for him to do good deeds, to do good deeds and to leave off what is blameworthy. We ask Allah to keep us firm upon the true religion. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I was admitted to Paradise, and I saw in it domes of hollow pearl. The domes are canopies, and the canopy is made of pearl, and I saw that its soil is musk." And he, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Ibn Sa'd, and he said to him: "What is the soil of Paradise?" He said: "White sand, musk, O Abu al-Qasim." So the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "You have spoken the truth." And the white sand is like pure flour in whiteness. Its soil is white, made of musk. We ask Allah to admit us into Paradise without prior punishment or reckoning.
And our Lord, may His glory be exalted, mentioned in the Quran the rivers of Paradise in thirty-five verses. In the Quran, Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, mentions the rivers, whether in this world or in the Hereafter, by His saying, the Exalted and Most High: "From beneath them flow rivers." So in it is the word "from," and in one place in the Book of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, Allah, the Majestic and Exalted, says: "Beneath them flow rivers" without the word "from." So what is the difference between these two expressions, or these two phrases? Allah, the Exalted and Most High, says, for example, on the tongue of Pharaoh: "Is not mine the kingdom of Egypt, and these rivers flowing beneath me?" And Allah, the Majestic and Exalted, says in the one verse in which the word "from" is not mentioned: "And the foremost, the first of the emigrants and the Helpers, and those who followed them in goodness—Allah is well-pleased with them and they are well-pleased with Him—and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow." So what is the difference between the phrase "from beneath them" and the phrase "beneath them"? Pharaoh says, as Allah, the Majestic and Exalted, mentioned: "Is not mine the kingdom of Egypt, and these rivers flowing beneath me?" Meaning: these rivers, I see them from my palace, from my house, from my balcony. I am commanded to look at the rivers. Meaning: I live on the bank of the sea, on the bank of the river. So this is the meaning of "beneath me." So Paradise—we ask Allah to admit us into Paradise without prior punishment or reckoning—the people of Paradise, O Allah, make us among them—they live on the banks of the rivers, looking at the river from their palaces and their houses. O Allah, admit us into Paradise without prior punishment or reckoning.
And as for His saying, may His glory be exalted: "And He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow," meaning: the palace is in the water, the water surrounds it. This is specific to the elite, and they are those who live in the pleasure of Allah. These are the honored ones, the pleased ones. O Allah, make us among them—those who follow the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and hold the belief of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, and take as a model the guidance of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them. The foremost, the first of the emigrants and the Helpers, and those who followed them in goodness. So, O you who wish to live in the midst of water in a great palace in Paradise, you must live as the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them all, lived.
Then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, informed us about the rivers of Paradise. He, peace and blessings be upon him, said—or it was narrated from him, and it is established from him, peace and blessings be upon him—that he saw four rivers flowing from their source, meaning from Paradise: two rivers apparent and two rivers hidden. So I asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him—and he was speaking with Gabriel, peace be upon him—what are these rivers? He said: "As for the two hidden rivers, they are two rivers in Paradise, hidden, meaning inside Paradise, and two rivers apparent, meaning outside Paradise. And as for the two apparent ones, they are the Nile and the Euphrates." And the meaning, my beloved ones, is that the source of the Nile and the source of the Euphrates are from Paradise, just as the source of humanity is from Paradise—from Adam, who lived in Paradise and then lived on the face of the earth. So the source of those rivers and their origin is from Paradise. And it was said regarding the greatness of the blessing of those rivers, or of those two rivers, that their blessing is great because their source is from Paradise. And the hadith does not, of course, mean that the Nile and the Euphrates now flow out from Paradise and descend upon the earth, but rather it means that the source of the two rivers is from Paradise.
And among the rivers of Paradise is al-Kawthar. We ask Allah to grant us a pleasant drink from which we shall never thirst thereafter. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I was given." Allah, may His glory be exalted, says: "We have given you al-Kawthar." And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "While I was walking in Paradise, I came upon a river whose two banks were domes of hollow pearl—great domes, hollow, meaning inside—[sounds of snoring] empty. I said: What is this, O Gabriel? He said: This is al-Kawthar that your Lord has given you. And if it is pleasant—or the narrator said: its soil is musk, fragrant. And this al-Kawthar is not drunk from except by one who follows the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. So no one can approach al-Kawthar."
As it is authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in the meaning of the hadith, that people will be brought and they will want to drink from al-Kawthar but they will be prevented. So when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned this, it was said to him that he does not know what innovations have occurred after him. So the innovations and the contradiction of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and not adhering to his guidance, peace and blessings be upon him, are the cause of being prevented from drinking from al-Kawthar. Then the scholars said that al-Kawthar—we ask Allah to grant us a pleasant drink from it—that this matter will occur at the beginning of the gathering and the Resurrection, the first thing that will be blown into the souls and bodies, and the people will be spread out on the Day of Resurrection. So the believers—may Allah make us among them—will go directly to this great pond, to the pond of the noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and they will drink from it and take shelter in the shade of the Throne of the Most Merciful, exalted is His majesty. We ask Allah to grant us the shade of His Throne on the Day when there is no shade except His shade. Then the rivers of Paradise, my dear brothers, are not just of water. He, exalted and glorified, said: "Like the garden which the righteous are promised, in which are rivers of water not altered in taste, and rivers of milk which has not changed its flavor, and rivers of wine, delightful to those who drink, and rivers of honey purified." And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "In Paradise there is a sea of honey, a sea of wine, a sea of milk, and a sea of water." Then the rivers will split from these four seas, or after that, from these four seas the rivers will split that flow beneath the people of Paradise. And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, informed us about a river called Bariq, and this will be at the gate of Paradise, outside Paradise, and it will be for the martyrs in the barzakh. So the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The martyrs are on Bariq, a river at the gate of Paradise, in a green dome, and their provision comes to them from Paradise morning and evening." So may Allah delight us with the rivers of Paradise. May Allah grant us the pleasure of a pleasant drink from which we will never be thirsty thereafter. May Allah save us from the thirst of the people of the Standing Place, O Most Merciful of the merciful. I say this and I seek forgiveness from Allah for myself and for you, so seek His forgiveness, for He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. In the name of Allah, praise be to Allah, and blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah and upon his family and companions and whoever follows his guidance.
Dear brothers, please move forward and come closer together so that our brothers also have a place to sit. Dear brothers, let us come today to further descriptions of Paradise. And these descriptions are important for us, on the one hand, to continue to perform the acts of worship and to have patience, on the other hand, to refrain from sins, and on the third hand, so that we can be steadfast and patient in dealing with the blows of fate. For whoever knows how great the reward is, will also be able to have patience to endure these things. So the Prophet said: Ali, I was shown Paradise and there I saw domes of [clearing throat] pearls and its ground was of musk. And the Prophet asked Ibn Ad, that was a Jewish boy at the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. He asked him: What is the ground of Paradise like? He answered: White fine flour. So, it looks like fine white flour. That is to say, it is very, very fine, this ground. And musk, he said, you have spoken the truth. So, it is a beautiful landscape, like a beach, like a beautiful town, and of course it is not to be compared with this world. And Allah, exalted is He, also mentions the rivers in the Quran, and generally 35 times in the Quran, both rivers in this world and in the Hereafter. And every time Allah mentions the term "from beneath." Yes. "Min taht" and only once is this term "from" not used, but only "beneath them." So Allah says, for example, that Pharaoh at the time of Musa, peace be upon him, said: "Do I not have dominion over Egypt and do not these rivers flow beneath me?" Now in Arabic there is still a word here, and that is "min taht." Yes, from beneath flow these rivers. On the other hand, in this unique place in the Quran, Allah says: The foremost, the first of the emigrants and the helpers, the Muhajirun and the Ansar, and those who followed them in the best manner, Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Allah, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow. Here it says "beneath which rivers flow" without this preposition "from beneath." Now, what is the difference in Arabic? Sometimes Allah says without "min" or more often he says with this preposition "min." The difference is, as some scholars said, if you live in an apartment on the beach, you see the beach beneath you from your penthouse apartment, from your balcony, from your castle,
Do you see the river, do you see the sea, do you see the water. So you live on the shore, but without this from only among them. This means this castle is in the middle of the water. And this applies only to one group of people, namely those who lived the way the Sahaba lived, who internalized their faith the way the Sahaba internalized the faith, who perform the acts of worship the way the Sahaba performed them, who take Alhajirun and Alar as an example in all areas of life. That is the greater class. They will be surrounded by water. Their castles, their dwellings, their cities and their beds are in the middle of the water. May Allahhanala grant us the highest levels of Paradise. And he mentioned that there are four rivers in Paradise. And the Prophet said, two visible rivers and two hidden ones. The Prophet asked Jibril, what are these rivers? He said, as for the two hidden rivers, they are two rivers in Paradise. So, they do not flow out of Paradise, they are in Paradise. But as for the visible ones, they flow out, these are the rivers of the Nile and the Euphrates. What does this Hadith mean? It of course does not mean that the water from Paradise falls onto the earth now, but it means, just as man was once created from earth, once lived in Paradise, namely Adam, but was then brought to the earth, so these two rivers sprang from Paradise, but were then brought to the earth. Or as some scholars say, this shows how blessed these two rivers are. And the Prophet had a river, namely Alar, as Allah said, verily, We have given you Alkaar. And the Prophet said, while I was walking in Paradise, I suddenly found myself at a river whose banks consisted of domes, hollowed-out pearls. I asked: "What is this?" "Oh Jibril, he said: "That is Alkauthar, which your Lord has given you. And look, its fragrance was more fragrant than musk." This Kaouthar is therefore the river and it flows out, so it springs from Paradise but flows out of Paradise into the basin of the Prophet alhiam. That basin, from which the people, the believers, will drink, but with a condition, as the Prophet shi reported, people will come who also want to drink from the basin, but they will be prevented from doing so. The Prophet shi asks, why do they not come? Then he is told, you do not know what they have changed after you. If one does not live according to the Sunnah of the Prophet, if one introduces innovations and lives by them, then one will not drink from this basin of the Prophet. Only those who remain steadfast, the Aqeedah of the Sahaba, the acts of worship, as the Sahaba performed them, namely as the Prophet did, these will drink from this noble basin. And Allahhanah said about the rivers in Paradise, the parable of Paradise which is promised to those who fear Allah, the God-fearing, therein are rivers of water that does not become stale, rivers of milk whose taste does not change, rivers of wine, delicious for those who drink, and rivers of purified honey. And the Prophet said, in Paradise there is a sea of honey, a sea of wine, a sea of milk and a sea of water. From them the rivers then branch off. That is, these are the seas, the four seas of Paradise and then the rivers flow from them, which will be among the people. Either as said, they live on the shore or they have their castles in the middle of these seas. And there is another river named Barik. And the Prophet said, the Meert are at Bar, a river at the gate of Paradise in a green dome. Their provision comes to them morning and evening from Paradise. That is, the Meert in the world of Barsach, so in the intermediate world before the Day of Judgment, will be provided and nourished by this river, which springs from Paradise and
...leads to. May Allah (Han) let us drink from the basin of the Prophet (am), so that we will never thirst, and may Allah (Han) grant us the highest ranks of Paradise.
Hasan Buzlmat, may Allah (Blessed and Exalted) have mercy on him. A few days ago, on a Wednesday, so O Allah, O Most Merciful of the merciful, O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him, grant him well-being and pardon him, and honor his arrival and widen his entrance. O Allah, wash him with water, snow, and hail. O Allah, O Allah, make his book easy and simplify his reckoning and weigh down his scales. O Allah, lead him to the basin of Your Messenger, peace be upon him. O Allah, protect him on the Day of the Great Tremor. O Allah, grant him the shade of Your Throne on the Day when there is no shade except Your shade. O Allah, gather him with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, and good are those for companions. Make it easy for him to cross the Sirat in the blink of an eye. O Allah, raise his ranks in 'Aliyyin. O Allah, settle him in the spacious gardens of Yours, O Most Merciful of the merciful, and gather him with the trustworthy Prophet, upon whom be the best of prayers and the most complete of peace. And he sent a message before his death to convey his greetings to you, so we ask Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, to gather us with him in the highest Paradise with the chosen Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Then, my dear ones, there is a brother there who asks for prayers for his son, so O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove from him the affliction and You are the Healer, there is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness. O Allah, lift from him the disease and send down upon him the healing and bless the medicine, O Most Merciful of the merciful. O Allah, forgive us what we have brought forward and what we have delayed, what we have hidden and what we have made public, and what You know better than we do. O Allah, we ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency. O Allah, have mercy on our fathers and mothers, whether they are alive or dead, and make us dutiful to them in their lifetime and after their death. O Allah, heal our sick and the sick of the Muslims. O Allah, heal every sick Muslim, O Most Merciful of the merciful. O Allah, support Islam and the Muslims. O Allah, protect the lands of the Muslims, O Most Merciful of the merciful, and protect the Muslims in all lands, O Most Merciful of the merciful. And may Allah send prayers and peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon his family and all his companions. M

Was bedeutet dieser Hadith?
