Senility is presented in the text as a consequence of negative thinking, delusions, and illusions, while a positive mind and sincere practice are said to protect memory and enable a peaceful death.

A pleasant, positive, and optimistic mind, however, does not become senile. Nevertheless, excessive thinking, delusions, and illusions, and in particular negative thinking, can weaken memory.

The text deals with the human lifespan and the phenomenon of senility in old age. It describes that the brain becomes weaker from about 65 to 70 years of age and that excessive thinking, delusions, illusions, and negative thinking can additionally burden memory. The central claim is that a positive, optimistic mind does not become senile and that negative thoughts, negative speech, and negative actions intensify suffering. The text points out that people today live longer and that as a result even scientists and medical professionals can suffer from senility. It is recommended to practice sincerely, to cultivate virtue, and to repeat mantras in order to keep the mind in one place. The impermanence of all phenomena is named as an insight through which unnecessary suffering and negative thinking are to disappear. The text addresses the listeners of the podcast and invites them to the online temple of the Juna Sangha.

Hello, welcome. I am very happy that you are here for the podcast Compassionate Buddha, your podcast for Love and World Peace. I am Denia Resitzki with Dama namen Gagdog. I am the Abbess of the Juna Meditation Center Hamburg-Jama Dama Sa, of the Juna Sanger of World Social Buddhism. In this episode, you will hear a daily reminder from Supreme Materialistik Wangdepopsanem about the human lifespan. Good insights. Daily fragrance of the Lotus Flower by Gagdog. 12,000, 3:20. April 2025 Lotus Buddhist Monastery. Usually, the human brain becomes weaker from the age of 65 to 70 years. During this period of our lives, senility sets in and proves to be one of the most difficult diseases. However, a pleasant, positive, and optimistic mind does not become senile. Nevertheless, excessive thinking, deceptions and illusions, and especially negative thinking can weaken memory. Thus, one tends to immediately forget whatever one has recently done. The brain always clings to the past and sometimes to the future. Consequently, thinking is separated and fragmented. Therefore, one forgets the age, the address, or even the name. Senility easily occurs in old age, which is why it is essential to make ourselves clear. We must ensure that we are free from negative thinking, negative speech, and negative actions, thereby saving ourselves. A long time ago, the human lifespan was [short], and it was very rare for people to become senile. Nowadays, people live much longer, which is also the reason why even scientists and medical professionals can suffer from senility. It is of the utmost importance that everyone has a positive and optimistic mind. Thus, those who have been negative from the past until today and have complained a lot reveal various types of actions and consult a doctor to examine symptoms associated with senile suffering. Therefore, as we grow older, we must practice sincerely and create much virtue so that we can properly prepare for the rest of our lives and even for the next life. Those who practice sincerely know where they are going when they leave this world and are able to live their final moments with a peaceful mind. When we practice and repeat the mantra, we keep our mind in one place while remaining in a state of relaxed mind. We think of the place with non-thinking. If there is then a time when we do not have to think, we should be calm and serious so that we can feel well and be healthy. All phenomena are impermanent, and if we truly realize this, then all unnecessary sufferings and all negative thinking disappear. At the same time, we think when we have to think. When we think of others, we are happy. Living together with those who are happy means an extremely satisfied life. Life is not so long, so let us lead a proper and satisfied life. Thank you, the Popsynem. Thank you for listening and thank you Suprematerial, the Quang of the Popsynem. I find it really interesting that senility or dementia is related or can be related to the fact that one perhaps did not think so positively in one's life, that one spoke ill, that one was negative and complained a lot in the past. Simply being negative. I find it quite astonishing that it is connected in this way. Normally, one thinks, yes, someone who becomes dement has simply bad luck that something in their brain is not quite right, something is off, or simply due to age-related weakness, but that it is also connected to the past, that someone was also very negative or thought negatively and complained a great deal, which I find, I find quite remarkable. Yes, I would like to invite you here very warmly to the Online Temple of Jungmasange. We will discuss the Daily Reminder of the current podcast episode, this Thursday from 7:30 to 8:00 PM. Hallo, herzlich willkommen. Gute Erkenntnisse. Daily fragrance of the Lotus Flower by Gagdog. 12.000, 3.20. April 2025 Lotus Buddhist Monastery.
