Patience
By ceasing to pass on negative emotions such as greed, envy, and hatred to others and instead practicing mindfulness and benevolent action, one lets old, harmful patterns die and enables an inner transformation.
Every time you pass on greed, envy, and hatred, in the form of feelings, words, or deeds, to another candle, that is to another person, you create karma that will sooner or later catch up with you.
The text is the third part of a four-part series on Buddhism in everyday life and deals with the question of what happens after death. The speaker refers to the Buddhist teaching that there is no fixed soul, and uses the candle metaphor to describe karma as the passing on of greed, envy, and hatred to other people. He advises not to pass on negative emotions, but to practice benevolent words, loving gestures, and gratitude. Using the example of political discussions, it is shown how one can stop getting angry at others and thereby let an old behavioral pattern die. The text connects this with the idea of transformation: the old version of the self dies to make room for something new. The speaker also promotes his video course and emphasizes that through mindfulness and consciousness work one can step out of emotional patterns. The message is directed at the listeners as an invitation to personal transformation in everyday life.

Welcome to Buddhism in Everyday Life, the podcast all about the topic of Buddhism, the audio format for those who are interested and those who feel drawn to the teaching of the Great Teacher. Who am I? Where do I come from? And the meaning of life. Those were the last three episodes from Butterblock. If you missed them, feel free to listen again. Today we are starting the final part of this four-part series with the wonderful title, Where are we going? The journey of the soul. As always, we bring you new approaches and options for reflection. So take with you as much as you possibly can. Notice what happens in your body in the coming minutes, which feelings arise when you follow our words. Butter would say that there is no fixed soul. This question, what happens after death, he always argued beautifully. He meant, as I do, what does it matter to me what happens after the death of my body. That is just another attachment to the future. He says, yes, we die and our body decomposes into the physical elements. But his most beautiful metaphor for me on this topic is that of the candle. Close your eyes for a moment and imagine your life like a bright, glowing candle. Every time you pass on greed, envy, and hatred, in the form of feelings, words, or actions, to another candle, that is to another person, you create karma, which will sooner or later catch up with you. So, make an effort to step out of this cycle that begins within you. Pass on your light with words of goodwill, loving gestures, heartfelt hugs, and gratitude for what you encounter. Imagine a friend comes to you to tell you something about a third person, or let us assume the government. Here is an example that some people can discuss for hours. The politician XY says something that one of your acquaintances is upset about. Now you have the chance to end this one circle, this one role in your life. Death through rebirth. Perhaps you have always gone along with his emotions and felt about the political situation just like your counterpart. Now you can release it from your life. Stay calm. Feel free to state that it is terrible, but it is no longer your task to judge others. Sudden death. Your old behavior begins to die. You begin, after this first step, to turn down the radio. When news comes on, begin to listen to your own music, take a USB stick with you instead to fill the car rides with musical accompaniment, or listen to our podcast more often, for repetition makes the master. No matter what you do. This identity of yours that complains about others begins to die. Your mind begins, in the first moment, to react with agitation, because suddenly there is emptiness that must be filled with thoughts. It is a journey. The beginning of your journey to your new self. If you let go of all that harms you, what is left then? I am of the opinion that everything only becomes more intense the more we engage with it. The argument with the partner. The loud reprimanding of the children. The argument that will not leave your head all day and all night. Perhaps you can only really sleep after two or three beers or a sleeping pill, because your body has to function again tomorrow. The same applies, however, to so many other, more wonderful things. For example, muscle training. The exercises become more and more intense. You begin, over time, to perhaps even engage with nutrition and see first results. You begin to meditate and develop spiritually. Your partner notices, you become calmer and is pleased about it. You might even book my video course, illuminate your own life, to learn more about yourself. You begin to, your
To feel your feelings and make your life happier. Not just empty content, but intensive transformation that helps you climb out of your emotional prison. The old version of you dies, like the caterpillar that transforms into a butterfly. Just imagine that for your life. The old version, it fades away. Lord is angry, irritable, and furious. It is simply allowed to go, to make room for something new, like a butterfly. Yes, so clearly described is not usual and can also sometimes make you afraid of the consequences. But what would the option be, I ask you, to just keep on living in your life that does not bring you the joy you would like to have? In my reality, I keep coming across challenges that show me where I still have something to resolve, to recognize, or simply to understand. To cleanse my karma from past lives or to neutralize the family karma, perhaps also just to prevent illnesses from even arising in the body. No matter for what reason these challenges reach me, I look at them and let the old pattern of my mind die through my consciousness. It became clear to me many years ago that everything in the garden grows and thrives, just like the thoughts you nurture the most. Someone from your family will inherit this garden, then all these thoughts will come to the surface. If you do not begin to tend your garden, the next owner will have to do it. Everything you do or also do not do is like a trail in the universe that shows you where you should let your old version die. If you are no longer happy, content, and free, then this course is the absolute game changer that will change your life. Consider which options you have: illness, depression, guilt, shame, or rather joy, fun, harmony, sensuality, courage, gratitude, and more self-love. It is, as always, your free will that guides you through your life. All my love, thank you for your intense feelings, until next week, your Rainer. P.S. You will find the link to my homepage below in the show notes. Let it be now that your old version dies, before your body begins to break down into its physical elements.

Ganz gleich, was du tust. Wenn du all das weglässt, was dir schadet, was bleibt dann noch übrig?
