True refinement does not consist in the worship of worldly means, but in complete trust in Allah, which is proven in practical submission to His commands and in dependence on God in all circumstances of life.
In the eyes of Allah, however, true refinement consists in attaining complete trust in Allah, being able to deeply root His majesties in the heart, and the heart attaining true purity.
The text is a Friday sermon by the Ahmadiyya Caliph, in which he describes the trust of the Promised Messiah (Mirza Ghulam Ahmad) in Allah. He recounts a revelation that announced the death of the Messiah's father after sunset, and that this time came to pass exactly. A second revelation comforted the Messiah in his concern for the family's livelihood. The text reports that the Messiah then commissioned a Hindu to have the revelation engraved on a signet ring in order to secure witnesses. A court case is described in which the Messiah, despite having legal representation, placed his trust exclusively in God and was acquitted. The text emphasizes that true refinement consists in complete trust in Allah and not in the worship of worldly means. The central message is that one should set one's hands to work but keep one's heart with God.

Sorry. The Destroyer of the Messiah Salatul Salam speaks about the Grace of Allah, His dealings with him, and his own trust in Allah from his early youth, and says: About 30 years ago, my revered father, may God bless him with His mercy, fell ill at the end of his life. On each day that was destined to be his last breath, I received the following revelation around noon: "Wa Samayin Wa Tariq," the translation of which is: By the heaven and by that which appears in the night. He explains that simultaneously, I was led to the thought that it pointed to his passing and that its meaning is: I swear by the heavens and I swear by the tragic event that will occur after sunset. It was a condolence from God, the Almighty, to His humble servant. I understood thereby that my father would die after sunset. Many people were informed of this revelation. I swear by Allah, the Almighty, in Whose hand my life rests, and against Whom to lie is an act of Satan and of a cursed one. That is exactly how it happened. On that day, my father’s actual illness, kidney colic, had healed. He suffered only from a mild restlessness, i.e., diarrhea, and was able to perform his natural needs on his own strength and without assistance. As the sun set, upon returning from the bathroom, after he had placed himself on the bed, the rattling of death began. He said, in every state, to me: "What is this?" Then he lay down. I had never before experienced someone speaking during the death-rattle and articulating clearly and distinctly in every state. Afterwards, he left this fleeting world exactly as the sun set. This was the first of the revelations and the first prophecy that God revealed to me. God informed me at noon of what would happen and that it should occur after sunset. It proved to be an honor to me, and I will not forget, I will not forget, that God, the Almighty, offered His condolences to me at the time of my father’s passing. Yes, He had sworn at his death in a manner as He had sworn by the heaven. Those in whom a Satanic spirit rages wonder how it can be that God, the Almighty, bestows such an honor upon someone, declaring the death of his father a great shock and even swearing upon it. I swear again by God, in His honor and glory, that this event is true and that it was indeed God who informed me of it in the form of a condolence and said: "Wa Samayin Wa Tariq." And exactly accordingly it came to pass. He says: Since I am a human being, I was, as just written, distressed when I heard the news that my father would die after sunset. Moreover, most of the means of our livelihood were tied to his life. He held a pension from the British government as well as a considerable honorary salary, which depended on his being alive. In this regard, the thought came to me of what would happen after his death. Fear spread in me that we might have to endure days of deprivation and hardship. All these worries flashed through my head in a fraction of a second. Just at that moment, I felt sleepy and the following second revelation was received: "Ala Yafkafu Bifgafin Abduhu." That is: Is it not sufficient for God to suffice His servant? My heart was strengthened by this revelation, just as a strongly burning wound is immediately soothed by an ointment. The fact is, it has been repeatedly confirmed that divine revelation possesses the quality of providing comfort, and at the root of this quality lies the certainty one gains regarding the revelation of God. It is a creative classic
and the harm, of which one cannot know whether it is of satanic or divine nature. The harm of such revelations is greater than their benefit. I, however, swear by God that I believe in this my revelation just as I believe in the Holy Quran and other scriptures. Just as I believe with conviction and certainty that the Holy Quran is the Word of God. So I also believe, to that extent, that the Word descending upon me is the Word of God, as I become aware of how it is accompanied by the radiance and light of God and the signs of divine proceeding. In short, when I gazed upon the revelation of Allächtelahu in Abduhu, I understood, I believe instantly that God will not let me perish. Thereupon I wrote this revelation for a Hindu named Malawamal from the Kasri caste on the Nqadian Ansäsek and who is still alive. I told him the whole story and sent him to Amritsar so that he would have it engraved as a seal ring in a gemstone through the mediation of Hakim Mollwi Mohammed Sharif from Gölanor and bring it back. I chose this Hindu for this task solely for the purpose that he would become a witness to this grandiose prophecy and that Mollwi Mohammed Sharif would also serve as a witness. Thus this ring, made for the sum of merely five rupees through the aforementioned Mollwi, came to me, which is still in my possession. And by the grace of Allah it will be passed on until your time. This revelation occurred at a time when the entire foundation of our existence and our livelihood depended solely on the meager income of my father. None of the outsiders knew me. I was a completely unknown person who had a niche existence in the anonymity of a deserted village like Gadyan. Thereafter, God, in accordance with His prophecy, turned a whole world toward me and granted me, through such preceding successes, financial assistance, for which I lack the words to express gratitude. When I considered my own situation, I did not even have the hope of ten rupees per month. Yet God, who raises the poor from the dust and casts the arrogant into the dust, has taken me by the hand in such a way that I can say with certainty that up to now 300,000 rupees have been received, perhaps even more. And one should realize these revenues by the fact that for years alone for the Langerhana up to 1,500 rupees per month have been spent. That is on average. And the other expenditure items, that is the school and the printing of books, are not yet included. One must therefore realize with what incredible clarity, power, and sublimity this prophecy, namely that the Salah-Bighar of Abduhu has been fulfilled. Even outsiders acknowledged his trust in Allah and his perseverance in the truth. In this regard, Malik Salahuddin Sahib reports that when a person in a gathering began to stand against his Holiness. Maulana Fassildin Sahib, a non-Ahmad-I lawyer who was the legal representative of his Holiness in the case of attempted murder, seized the word with fervor and said, I am absolutely convinced of the grandiose personality and moral perfection of Milsa Sahib. I have seen extremely foreign people who, on the basis of legal advice, changed their testimony. Only Milsa Sahib have I experienced as someone who has not deviated a single step from the path of truth. In the case of Martin Clark I prepared a legal statement and told him that the statement of the accused was not under oath. After Milsa Sahib had read the statement, he said, there is a lie contained therein. God has not given permission for an accused to lie. I replied, they are rushing headlong into ruin. Thereupon he answered
Milsa Sahib, to throw oneself into ruin with open eyes means far more that I would provoke my God through a legal declaration. In order to gain an unlawful advantage, I will never do this. No matter what happens. At this point, in the court of Milsa Sahib, this non-Ahmadi lawyer stated this. At this point, a very particular majesty and humility lay upon the court of Milsa Sahib. He continues to report that Milsa Sahib said, I have not even imagined that their legal representation would bring me any benefit. My trust rests solely on God, who looks into my heart. On Him I place my trust. He knows everything. Furthermore, he says, my testimony will be far more effective than their legal submission. Remember this well as well. Since I place my trust in the Almighty, remember now that the testimony I will give will have far greater effect than their legal statement. Assuming, and he adds further, that even if the outcome in the eyes of the world should not be good, that is, if I should be punished, I will still be happy that I was not disobedient to my Lord. It was the miraculous power of God that Milsa Sahib was acquitted based on his own testimony. This lawyer summarizes. I consider him to be perfectly sincere and he enjoys an exceptionally high esteem in my heart. He thus makes it unambiguously clear that legal representation is merely a worldly means. One should make use of it, but his trust lies solely with his God. For this reason, he could not act against any command of Allah. And he spoke with the firm conviction that the decisions would fall in his favor. Even a non-Jamaat member could not escape this impressive effect. Mr. Siddiq Musfi Muhammad Sadiq Sahib writes that the Freedom of Thought M. S. Laslatovlam said, in the view of people today, cultivation means that man degenerates into a worm of this world. He forgets God and devotes himself to the worship of obvious worldly means. In the eyes of Allah, however, true cultivation consists in attaining complete trust in Allah. His sublimity is deeply rooted in the heart, can be anchored, and the heart attains true purity. And for this very trust and this true purity, he gives an example whereby the Freedom of Thought M. Laslatovlam himself practiced this. When he took the Bait from the common people, he gave the following advice to those who took the Bait. Once he said, much more he emphasized this mostly when he admonished the Ahmadis that upon entering this Jamaat, one must first effect a change in one's life. Bring about a change in your inner being, so that the faith in God becomes genuine and He supports you in every distress. Furthermore, His commands must never be regarded with contempt. Do not regard the commands of Allah as insignificant, but show reverence to each individual command, and this must be proven practically. What is the practical proof that one acts according to the commands of Allah? To abandon trust in God in all matters, this is Shirk and amounts to a denial of the existence of God. He gave this advice to everyone who took the Bait. He said, one should at least consider that it is by no means permissible. Our belief is that we do not forbid the non-claiming of worldly means. However, we forbid relying on them alone. The hand at work, the heart with the Beloved, that is, the hands may engage in work, but the heart should remain deeply immersed in the remembrance of Allah. It should be so, further says the Promised Messiah, Laslatovlam. It is not forbidden to you to use existing remedies and
to use human efforts. But it is forbidden that you place your entire trust in them. Under all circumstances, the will of God must be done, and for one who has the power to adopt this standpoint. For such a person, the position of faith in God and trust in God is still the best of all positions. He further says that God has endowed prayer with specific properties for the healing of diseases. In prayers, healing powers for diseases are hidden, and it is also mentioned in a Hadith that prayers have an influence and that they act as a method of treatment for diseases. However, to rely entirely on these worldly means and to fall into the belief that salvation and success are possible through them alone. This is grave Shirk and disbelief. One must never rely on worldly means. Rather, one should proceed in such a way that one employs means, but then places one's trust in God, that He, if He wills, will make these means effective. One should pray only to Him, for producing results from the means is solely His work. And this is true trust in God. In a gathering, some diseases were discussed. He said, my faith regarding the healing of diseases through prayer is such that I cannot put into words what I feel in my heart about it. The thoughts I conceive and what I carry in my heart, I simply cannot express. The doctor goes up to a certain limit and stops. A patient, a patient, a doctor, goes up to a certain limit, then stops and loses hope. Many people today write in letters that they have become hopeless and that the doctor has given up. But it is precisely there that God opens a way through prayer. Knowledge of God and trust in God mean exactly this. To step beyond those limits that humans have set and to sow hope. Otherwise, the person dies even in a living state. It is precisely at this point that the knowledge of Allah begins. The gathering about which this is spoken was recorded in the newspaper Al-Hakam. In the newspaper Biddal, there is an additional sentence, that he said, our true faith is that even if the doctors of the whole world have given up hope and pronounce a death certificate, through spiritual means and concentrated prayer, the prayer is still answered and his healing can occur. Regarding the illness of Haizad Mollvi, Abdul Kadim, Zahab, Zahal Koti, Shilrath Sheikh Yakuvalis, one sees the sublime trust in God. No one can remain steadfast. And that example of perfect love, self-sacrifice, and absolute trust in Allah, which his Holiness displayed during the illness of Mollvi, is sufficient proof for an insightful person. A proof that his Holiness was sent by God and maintained a genuine relationship with Him. If today someone wishes to behold the perfect model of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi sallam in this Umma, there is absolutely no one who could surpass Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Sahib from Qadian in this. Even if one were to search the whole world. For Hazrat Mollvi Abdul Kadim Zahab, the Celebrated S. Salat As-Salaam prayed until the very last moment for him. When the time finally came, he submitted completely to the will of Allah. The Celebrated S. Salat As-Salaam says, trust in God means exactly this. To bundle together, to the best of one's ability, all the means that Allah has prescribed for achieving a certain matter, and then to immerse oneself in prayer and supplication. Oh God, grant this matter a good outcome. Hundreds of misfortunes and thousands of plagues exist, which make these means ineffective for achieving
can turn upside down. Protect us from their aggressions and lead us to experience success and the other desired goal. He says, in reality, people have fallen into doubt. For this reason, they do not refrain from sin. In each person, a certain share of negligence remains. In exactly this way, God now wishes for these people to understand. Just as Sonnoas had said in his time that he had found protection on the mountain, so do these people claim. He speaks about the time of the plague, that they remain protected from the plague through the protection of vaccination. The most important thing of all is the certainty in the existence of God. Without this certainty, blessings can never arise in deeds. He said, if people were to stand firmly by the Oneness of God even on this day, this plague would also disappear today. God looks upon the deeds of man, whether he holds fast to the Oneness of God or not. There are countless deeds that trust in God and stand against the Oneness of God. Mark, such a person calls out in every way "la ilaha illallah," there is no god worthy of worship except Allah. He remains a liar in this. This very thing is transgression. As strongly as trust is placed in worldly means nowadays, it seeks its like in the past. Although there was also transgression and excess in those epochs, the fear of God was still present in the hearts. So be very nuller Bedienstschach sei reported. I still remember very well, as soon as the plague broke out in the region or in the city. He did not only order the cleansings of his own house. Here the use of worldly means is found. But he also caused the cleansings of the boarding school and likewise instructed all friends to use sulfur, Ackepflanze, phenyl, and Google in their houses. This is the name of a tree that secretes resin, which is then used for fumigation and acts as a germicide. Care should be taken that through the use of such and similar means, the germs are destroyed. That is, use these things and take precautions to eliminate the germs through them. Fumigate and disinfect, use phenyl and sprayers. So he used to say that the utilization of worldly means is equivalent to giving thanks for the blessings. And that this corresponds to the population's obedience to his command to abandon worldly means, is, as he speaks, the Sharia. The rank of trust in God follows only afterwards. That is, one uses the means, but does not place one's trust solely in them. Rather, the true knowledge consists in perceiving the hand of God behind the worldly means. All methods should be exhausted. But then one must see that Allah stands behind them. This should be the mindset, this should be the faith. Herr Södmüller Beschiedsheil reported that Dr. Muhammad Ismail told him that the Pfeifr der Messias Lasselat-Roslam placed the greatest value on cleanliness. Especially in the days of the plague, it was so, he was so concerned that he personally dissolved phenyl in a vessel, went around, and independently poured it into the toilets and drains of the house. Herr Södmüller Beschiedsheil reported that occasionally the Pfeifr der Messias Lasselat-Roslam would pile up a large heap of firewood in the house and light a fire, so that the harmful germs would die. In addition, he had a very large Eis oven made, which was filled with coal and sulfur and lit in the rooms. At all times, the doors were firmly closed. The heat that it emitted was so immense that inside, when the room was opened again after the oven had cooled down, it still blazed like in a glowing oven. Furthermore, he said, I would like to note that the prophets had a truly wondrous sublimity
to exhibit. On the one hand, they pay such great attention to worldly means that an observer might suspect that, in their eyes, the entire arrangement of predestinations and fate lies solely in the hands of these means, and that without their consideration the goal could never be achieved. On the other hand, however, they possess such immense trust in the existence of God that they regard these means as a dead insect. A person with a merely superficial outlook would be deeply astonished if he observed this state. In truth, however, it is so, no matter how much they honor these means. Do they not do so in the belief that these means possess the keys to predestination and fate, but rather for the reason that these means were created by God, and honoring God requires it. Yes, it is the explicit command of God that the means He has created be taken into account. Since the Prophets stand at the highest level in obedience to the commands of Allah, they also appear to be superior to others in the use of worldly means. Their true trust, however, rests on nothing other than the Essence of Allah. This is precisely the core of the Oneness of God, for the establishment of which the Prophets were sent. When one reflects on this, it is no easy state, but requires constant effort and extremely firm faith. When people always use worldly means, they often forget that every power and effect granted to these means by the Will of Allah, and that they are worth nothing in themselves, and that this is also found in those who claim that they not only formally believe in Allah, but truly and with the inner insight of the heart believe in Him. With their mouths they claim so, yet in their state of belief there prevails a weakness. Every person should look into his own heart. Then he will recognize whether a true faith is present or whether it is this weakness. Do we rely on worldly means in difficulties, or do we have complete trust in Allah, so that the means merely represent an outward effort in accordance with the command of Allah? This is what the believers must pay attention to. Herr Söderbischied Ehmerts writes that faith theoretically resides in the heart of every believer. But there are only

Sorry. Also im Durchschnitt. Ganz gleich was geschieht. Also sei ihr sehr nuller Bedienstschach sei berichtet.
