And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever travels a path seeking knowledge, Allah will facilitate for him a path to Paradise..." EDUCATION AND TEACHING Dear Muslims! The most important factor in enabling a person to establish positive relationships with his Lord, himself, society, and his environment, and in leading a measured and balanced life, is education and teaching. The verse of the Noble Quran, "Say: Are those who know equal to those who do not know?"1, most beautifully expresses the value of acquiring knowledge and obtaining correct information in the sight of Allah. Beloved Believers! The understanding of raising a good person who takes serving the Creator and showing mercy to the created as his motto, and who is attached to national and spiritual values, must be the foundation of education. For the purpose of education is to be able to raise a generation that is nourished by faith, strengthened by knowledge, embraces all humanity with its mercy, and is a hope for our nation, the Ummah of Muhammad, and all humanity. The purpose of education is to be able to build a society that represents wisdom under the guidance of revelation and beautiful character in the example of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The purpose of education is to contribute to our country becoming a voice of authority in science, technology, art, and indeed in every area of life. Valuable Mothers and Fathers! Dear Teachers! We are going through a period in which everything is changing at a great speed. In this process, we see that the interests, perceptions, and expectations of young people are also changing rapidly. In this regard, for a good education, we must first know our children well. We must support them in catching the spirit of the times, understanding the era, and possessing the qualifications suitable for the requirements of the future. However, in accordance with the divine command, "O you who believe! Protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones,"2 we must protect our children and youth from deviant ideologies, false currents, and all kinds of addictions. Dear Muslims! What is incumbent upon us today is to introduce our faith, our customs and traditions, and our history and culture to our children in the most correct way. It is to guide them to obtain the provision for the Hereafter, as much as, or even more than, we strive for their worldly success. Let us not forget that for those who believe in the existence of an eternal world, the true success is attaining the pleasure of Allah. On this occasion, we beseech our Exalted Lord that the new academic year, which will begin next Monday, may be beneficial for our children, our teachers, our parents, and our nation. Tarih: 11.09.2026 ﷽ ...قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي ال َذ۪ينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَال َذ۪ينَ لََ يَعْلَمُونَ ... وَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الل ِٰ صَل َي الل ُٰ عَلَيْهِ وَسَل َمَ : مَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَبْتَغِى فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَلَكَ الل ُٰ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَن َةِ ... EĞİTİM VE ÖĞRETİM Muhterem Müslümanlar! İnsanın; Rabbiyle, kendisiyle, toplumla ve çevresiyle olumlu ilişkiler kurması nda, ölç ülü ve dengeli bir hayat yaşamasında en önemli etken, eğitim ve öğretim dir. İlim öğrenmenin ve doğru bilgi elde etmenin Allah katındak i kıymetini , “De ki: Hiç bilenlerle bilmeyenler bir olur mu?” 1 ayet-i kerimesi en güzel şekilde ifade etmektedir. Aziz Müminler! Yaratana kulluk etmeyi ve yaratılana merhamet göstermeyi kendisine düstur edinen , milli ve manevi değerlerine bağlı iyi bir in san yetiştirme anlayışı, eğitimin temeli olmalıdır. Zira eğitimden maksat; imanla beslenen, ilimle güçlenen, merham etiyle tüm insanlığı kucaklayan; milletimiz, ümmet-i Muhammed ve bütün insanlık için umut olan bir nes il yetiştirebilmektir. Eğitimden maksat; vahyin rehberliğinde hikmeti ve Peygamber Efendimiz (s.a.s)’in örnekliğinde güzel ahlakı temsil eden bir toplum inşa edebilmektir . Eğitimden maksat, ülkemizin; bilimde, teknolojide, sanatta, hâsılı hayatın her alanında söz sahibi olmasına katkı sunabilmektir. Kıymetli Anne ve Babalar! Değerli Öğretmenler! Her şeyin büyük bir hızla değiştiği bir dönemden geçiyoruz. Bu süreçte gençlerin ilgi, algı ve beklentilerinin de hızlı bir şekilde değiştiğini görüyoruz. Bu bakımdan , iyi bir eğitim için, öncelikle evlatlarımızı iyi tanımak zorundayız. Onların; zamanın ruhunu yakalamalarına, çağı anlamalarına ve geleceğin icaplarına uygun donanıma sahip olmalarına destek olmalıyız . Bununla beraber, “Ey iman edenler! Kendinizi ve ailenizi, yakıtı insanlar ve taşlar ol an ateşten koruyun”2 emr-i ilahisi gereğince , çocuklarımızı ve gençlerimizi; sapkın ideolojilerden, batıl akımlardan ve her türlü bağımlılıktan korumalıyız. Aziz Müslümanlar! Bugün bize düşen ; inancımızı, örf ve adetlerimizi, tarih ve kültürümüz ü en doğru şekilde evlatlarımıza tanıtmaktır. Onların dünyevi başarıları için çaba gösterdiğimiz kadar , hatta daha da fazla , ahiret azığı elde etmelerine rehberlik etmektir. Unutmayalım ki, ebedi bir âlemin varlığına in ananlar için asıl başarı, rızâ -yı ilahiye ulaşmaktır. Bu vesileyle, önümüzdeki P azartesi başlayacak olan yeni eğitim ve öğretim yılının ; evlatlarımıza, öğretmenlerimiz e, velilerimiz e ve milletimize hayırlı olmasını Yüce Rabbimizden niyaz ediyoruz.
