God does not forget any injustice committed by tyrants, but merely postpones their punishment until a certain day, which is meant to be comfort for the oppressed and an inescapable warning for the oppressors.
The text is an Islamic sermon that uses the Quranic verse from Surah Ibrahim (14:42) as its central message to address injustice and tyranny. It argues that God records every deed of the oppressors and will hold them to account one day, which is meant to be comfort for the victims and a warning for the perpetrators. The text links this theological message with a concrete political analysis in which the USA and Israel are identified as the main actors of current oppression and 'unbelief.' The history of the people of 'Ad is cited as a historical example of the downfall of arrogant powers. The sermon calls on Muslims to hold fast to their religion and not to be intimidated by the power of their enemies. At the same time, the community is urged to exercise patience and to trust in divine justice rather than falling into despair.

And do not think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do.
Introduction:
O Muslims: When the eyes of humans sleep, the Eye of Allah does not sleep. And when crises intensify, and distress reaches its peak in souls, and oppressive power controls the destiny of the oppressed, a confusing question filled with pain comes to the minds of some: "Where is justice?" Here stands the Muslim who knows Allah, who honors the religion of Allah, who acts according to the Book of Allah, the Most High, and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and who draws inspiration from the lessons and admonitions of history and its events, whether those events were narrated to us by the Noble Quran, or occurred in the authentic and noble Sunnah of the Truthful and the Verified. And here comes the answer from the Quran and the Sunnah to adjudicate the issue with a single verse that shakes the pillars of injustice, and strikes injustice and the wrongdoers at their roots, and eradicates their very essence. In contrast, it pours tranquility and serenity into burning hearts and wounded hearts.
O Muslims: It is not merely a verse, but it is a divine lightning bolt sent upon every tyrant, and every wrongdoer, and every combatant against the religion of Allah, who thought they were safe from the stratagem of Allah: "And the evil plot will not succeed except for its own people" [Fatir: 43]. And at the same time, it is a glad tidings and a soothing balm of safety from Allah for every oppressed person who wept in the depths of the night, and no one heard him, but "Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing" [Al-Baqarah: 181]. And Allah, Glorified is His Majesty, delays but does not neglect. And in the Hadith: "Indeed, Allah allows the wrongdoer to continue, until when He seizes him, He does not let him go" (Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
O Muslims: How strange is the affair of the wrongdoer! He sees the forbearance of Allah towards him and thinks it is weakness, and he sees the postponement and delay of punishment and thinks that is negligence. But the terrifying truth for every unjust and oppressive wrongdoer is that every movement, every tear, and every sigh that came from the chests of the oppressed is recorded and registered in a Book: "My Lord does not err and does not forget" [Ta-Ha: 52]. The killer may forget his victim, and the one who consumes the wealth of orphans and the wealth of people without right may forget what his hands have earned, and so on, those who fought the call of the Messengers, peace and blessings be upon them, and those who stood as a stumbling block before the religion of Allah, the Most High, and harmed the servants of Allah. Indeed, all of that is inscribed and written: "We will record what they said and their killing of the prophets without right" [Al-Imran: 181], "Nay! We will record what he says, and We will extend for him a stretch of punishment" [Maryam: 79], "And Allah records what they plan by night" [An-Nisa: 81]. Even what the wrongdoer conceals in his chest and does not manifest of aggression, killing, and plundering of the innocent, that is recorded with Allah: "It leaves nothing small or large except that it records it" [Al-Kahf: 49].
O unjust and oppressive wrongdoer: O you who transgress against the blood, sanctities, and wealth of the people of Islam, know that Allah, the Most High, is lying in wait for you, and that there is no escape for you from punishment and reckoning: "Indeed, Our messengers record what you plot" [Yunus: 21], "And indeed, over you are guardians, noble recorders" [Al-Infitar: 10-11], "That was recorded in the Book" [Al-Isra: 58], "This is Our Book which speaks to you with the truth" [Al-Jathiyah: 29], "Read your Book! Sufficient for you today as a reckoner against you is your own self" [Al-Isra: 14].
O Muslims: The files of injustice and the wrongdoers will be opened one day. So do not grieve, O oppressed one, and do not let your soul be consumed by regrets and sighs, and know that Allah, the Most High, is lying in wait for every wrongdoer: "So the root of the people who wronged was cut off, and praise is to Allah, Lord of the worlds" [Al-An'am: 45], "And We seized those who wronged with a severe punishment for what they used to commit of transgression" [Al-A'raf: 165], "And those towns, We destroyed them when they wronged, and We made for their destruction an appointed time" [Al-Kahf: 59], "And those who wronged will soon know to what return they will return" [Ash-Shu'ara: 227].
O Muslims: Do we not reflect upon this Noble Book, and look at what it contains of verses of threat and warning for every wrongdoer? O wrongdoer: Stand with yourself and hold yourself accountable for every crime or transgression against others.
O people: It is incumbent upon each of us to advise every wrongdoer to cease from his injustice to himself or to others, and to warn every wrongdoer of the Day of Judgment and the decision before Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, the day when the Book is placed which leaves nothing small or large except that it records it. And that they should fear what Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has prepared for the wrongdoers of retribution and punishment: "The Day when the excuse of the wrongdoers will not benefit them, and for them is the curse, and for them is the evil abode" [Ghafir: 52]. How wretched and miserable are the wrongdoers in this world and the Hereafter.
O people: Here is a pause, which is the direction of consolation and sympathy to the oppressed, that they should not despair and that they should purify their patience for Allah, the Mighty and Sublime; for they have a promised day in which their rewards will be fulfilled, in which they will be aided, and in which Allah will take vengeance for them against those who wronged them. Allah, the Most High, said: “Indeed, only the patient will be given their reward without account” [Az-Zumar: 10]. And Allah, the Most High, said: “And do not think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when their eyes will stare in astonishment” [Ibrahim: 42]. Maymun ibn Mihran – one of the scholars of the Salaf, may Allah have mercy on him – said about this verse: “In it is consolation for the oppressed and a warning for the oppressor.” Here we say to every unjust and deceitful oppressor, and to every sinful transgressor, we say to the states of disbelief and tyranny, America and the gang of the Children of Zion: “So woe to those who have wronged from the punishment of a painful Day” [Az-Zukhruf: 65].
Here are pauses with the oppressors and the wrongdoers from the states of disbelief and tyranny, and with all other oppressors among the people of Islam. Have you not heard of the Sunnah of Allah regarding the wrongdoers in every era? Indeed, the history of past nations is full of pages that embody the end of oppression, and indeed the laws of Allah in the earth are fixed and do not change, and indeed the end of oppression is severe, and indeed Allah, the Most High, is a Just Judge, and He is the One, Exalted is His Majesty, who said in the Holy Hadith: “O My servants, indeed I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden among you, so do not wrong one another” (narrated by Muslim). For this reason, the Lord of Majesty and Glory has recounted to us in His Noble Book how He destroyed the oppressors and the wrongdoers, how He demolished their settlements, how He tore apart the unity of the oppressors, and how He dealt with the arrogant tyrants who stood as a stumbling block against the religion of Allah, and who fought against what the messengers, peace and blessings be upon them, brought. And these are some of their reports, so that every wrongdoer may be deterred, and every tyrant may be deterred, and every enemy of the religion of Allah may be deterred, and every enemy of what the last of the prophets and messengers, Muhammad ibn Abdullah, peace and blessings be upon him, brought, and to every unjust and deceitful one, and to every fighter against this Ummah from the Jews and the Christians and the Americans and the rest of the hypocrites and the rest of the enemies of the religion, and from those who have tightened the noose around the Ummah of Islam in their religion or in their worldly life, for indeed Allah is lying in wait for them. Allah, the Most High, said: “So for each of them We took [retribution] for their sin; and among them were those to whom We sent a destructive wind, and among them were those whom the Shai’ah [a loud cry] took, and among them were those whom We caused the earth to swallow, and among them were those whom We drowned. And it was not that Allah would wrong them, but it was they themselves who were wronging themselves” [Al-Ankabut: 40].
O Muslims: This is “the tribe of Aad, the first,” and the power of the “stone skyscrapers,” where that tribe was among the strongest nations in construction and the highest in expansion and development. They built in the desert a city, “Iram, the one with the pillars, which had not been created like it in the lands” [Al-Fajr: 7-8], in terms of grandeur and strength. Their physical and military strength and their extraordinary economy deluded them, until they stood in arrogance asking: “Who is stronger than us in power?” [Fussilat: 15]. They despised the weak and wronged the servants, and instead of thanking Allah, the Most High, for His blessings, they worshipped idols and denied their prophet Hud, peace and blessings be upon him and upon our Prophet. So the end was earth-shattering; the punishment came to them from where they did not expect. Allah withheld rain from them until their lands dried up, then a black cloud came towards them, and they rejoiced in it and thought it was rain, but it was a violent, roaring wind: “He unleashed it upon them for seven nights and eight days, in succession” [Al-Haqqah: 7], where that wind would uproot the giant man among them and fly him through the air, then overturn him on his head so that his head would be severed from his body. They left behind their palaces empty on their roofs: “As if they were the trunks of empty date palms. Do you see any of them remaining?” [Al-Haqqah: 7-8]. The strength has gone, and the lesson remains.
O Muslims: How similar is tonight to last night! This is the state of disbelief and tyranny in this era, America and its ally, the gang of the Jews, and those with them from the states of the Christians, the enemies of Islam, for they boast to the world of their strength and their economy, but Allah is lying in wait for them. So we, the Ummah of Islam, should not despair and should not be defeated; rather, we, the people of Islam, must hold fast to our religion, to the Book of our Lord and the Sunnah of our Prophet and our Beloved Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and to what that blessed generation of the Companions, the Followers, and the Followers of the Followers, the people of the preferred centuries, as attested by the Quran and the Sunnah, was upon. If we hold fast to our religion, and rule by the law of our Lord, and establish justice in our lives, and fight oppression, and spread goodness, and preserve the generations and their minds and their morals, and plant in the hearts of the generations love for Islam and love for the Quran and love for the Sunnah, and love for those who transmitted this religion to us, who sacrificed everything they possessed in support of the religion of Allah, and in following the Messenger of Allah, and in hoping for what is with Allah, then: “And to Allah belong the hosts of the heavens and the earth” [Al-Fath: 4]. Then the divine reinforcement and the divine aid will come, and Allah, the Most High, will make His religion and His allies victorious: “If you support Allah, He will support you” [Muhammad: 7].
O Muslims: This is a tyrant among tyrants whose back Allah broke and whose army He drowned. He is Pharaoh, that arrogant oppressor who uttered a statement no one has ever made throughout the history of humanity: “I am your Lord, the Most High” [An-Nazi’at: 24]. And he said: “I do not know any god for you besides Me” [Al-Qasas: 38]. “And Pharaoh led his people astray and did not guide them” [Ta-Ha: 79]. Where is he? Where is his kingdom? Where are his soldiers? Where is his guard? “So We destroyed them for their sins and drowned the family of Pharaoh” [Al-Anfal: 54].
O people: Pharaoh is the greatest symbol of injustice throughout history. He did not content himself with oppressing the servants of Allah, enslaving the Children of Israel, and killing their children; rather, he crossed all red lines, if that expression is correct, and shouted to his people: “I am your Lord, the Most High” [An-Nazi’at: 24]. He thought his kingdom was eternal and that Allah was heedless of what He does to the oppressed. So the outcome was dire, and the consequence of his injustice, aggression, and warfare against the religion of Allah was: “So We destroyed them for their sins and drowned the family of Pharaoh” [Al-Anfal: 54]. This is a message to every unjust, arrogant, and haughty person who does not believe in the Day of Reckoning. Reconsider your accounts, O unjust and oppressive one, O you who transgress against others and wrong them in their religion and in this world. Have you not heard the stories in the Noble Quran, where Allah, the Most High, narrated to us what happened to the unjust towns, and what happened to the arrogant oppressors in terms of destruction, ruin, annihilation, sinking, transformation, and drowning: “So take heed, O you who have vision” [Al-Hashr: 2].
May Allah bless you and me in the Noble Quran, and may Allah benefit me and you with what is in it of verses and wise remembrance.
I have said what you have heard, and I seek forgiveness from Allah for myself and for you, so seek His forgiveness; indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
Second Khutbah
Praise be to Allah, and I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and upon his family, his companions, and his wives, all of them. As for what follows:
O Muslims: Jabir ibn Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Beware of injustice, for injustice will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection” (narrated by Muslim). And Abu Ma’bad, the freed slave of Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sent Mu’adh to Yemen and said: “And beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no veil between it and Allah” (agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim).
Has this hadith touched your heart and reached your ears, O oppressor? Have you not considered that there are hands raised and supplications heard, and eyes weeping in the depths of the night, and the gates of heaven opened for them, while you, O oppressor, are heedless of those supplications and continue in your injustice without fear or trembling? Have you not read the story of Nimrod who debated Khalil Ibrahim, peace be upon him, regarding his Lord, denied the lordship of Allah, and became arrogant, haughty, and unjust? What happened to him? Allah sent against him one of the weakest of His soldiers, a mosquito that entered his nostril and settled in his head, so he would bellow like an ox from the intensity of the pain and suffering he experienced, and he would find no slight relief except when he struck his head with sandals, may Allah honor you.
O oppressor: O arrogant one, O tyrant, O you who turn away from the message of the heavens, O you who wage war against the religion of the Lord of the Worlds, O you who stand as a stumbling block before what the Seal of the Messengers, peace and blessings be upon him, brought, where is your intellect? Why do you not return to your Lord? Why do you not cease from your injustice? Do you not have an intellect? Do you not fear the punishment of Allah for you? Do you not fear that Allah will send against you an army from among His armies and make you a lesson and a warning for those with you and those after you? “And whoever among you does injustice, We will make him taste a severe punishment” [Al-Furqan: 19].
O Muslims: Let every arrogant oppressor, and every aggressor who has dared to violate the sanctities of Allah, dared against the religion of Allah, waged war against the righteous friends of Allah from the people of truth and religion, wronged the servants of Allah, transgressed against bloods, wealth, and honor, transgressed against the sacred, destroyed property, tore apart the limbs of children and mothers, waged war against people in their livelihoods, sustenance, and means of living, became tyrannical and oppressive, and increased corruption on earth, relying on his soldiers, his military, and his guard, and instilled fear in people with his might and weapons, and spread terror and panic among the people. Let all these oppressors, whether they are states or groups, or leaders, or authorities, or those who possess influence, wealth, and power, know that the ropes of injustice, however long, are short, and that the thrones of falsehood, however high, are destined to perish.
And that there are widows, orphans, the hungry, the oppressed, and the subjugated who raise their hands to the King of Kings and the Just Judge, with whom no one is wronged, so much so that He, exalted is His Majesty, on the Day of Resurrection, “will exact retribution from the horned sheep for the hornless sheep” (narrated by Muslim) – the one without horns – in order to establish justice and support the oppressed against the oppressor. And He, the Exalted, is the One who said in the Holy Hadith regarding the supplication of an oppressed person raised to the Avenging Tyrant, saying Allah, the Most High: “By My Majesty and My Glory, I will surely help you, even if it be after a while” (narrated by al-Tirmidhi). So where will you go, O unjust and oppressive one? Where is the escape? “Nay! There is no escape. To your Lord on that Day is the destination. Man will be informed on that Day of what he has sent forth and left behind” [Al-Qiyamah: 11-13].
Repent, O wrongdoer, and hasten to seek forgiveness, and absolve yourself from the injustices committed against people, and weep for the injustice and aggression that has preceded you from you. And whoever repents, Allah will accept his repentance: “Say: ‘O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins.’” [Az-Zumar: 53], provided that you fulfill the conditions, for then Allah will accept your repentance. First: immediately cease from injustice. Second: feel remorse for what you have wronged and transgressed. Third: resolve not to return to the injustice and aggression you were previously engaged in. Fourth: return the rights to their rightful owners. As for the injustice between you and Allah the Most High, whether through associating partners with Him or through disobedience, Allah may forgive it if you are sincere in your repentance, if you worship your Lord alone, and if you fear standing before Him on the Day when “the eyes will stare in awe” [Ibrahim: 42]. As for the rights of people, these are postponed until the Day when the scales are set up and deeds are weighed, for they are either good deeds or evil deeds: “Indeed, on the Day of Resurrection, you will dispute before your Lord” [Az-Zumar: 31].
Al-Layth ibn Sa’d and others reported: “A man wrote to Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them): ‘Write to me about all knowledge.’ Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) wrote back to him: ‘Knowledge is vast, but if you can meet Allah with your back light from the blood of people, your stomach empty from their wealth, your tongue rest
