Tema Greenwich Meridian TOSM Holds Health Outreach at Community 2 Mosque
The active provision of health knowledge and joint engagement in the neighbourhood strengthen the interfaith community and demonstrate Christian neighbourly love across denominational boundaries.
Members of the Muslim community expressed their appreciation for the initiative and praised the church for bringing health education directly into the mosque.
The Tema Greenwich Meridian district of the Pentecostal church organised a health programme at the Tema Community 2 mosque. The event took place during the Thursday Zuhr prayers and was led by Pastor Dr. Suleman De-Graft Issaka. A central point was a presentation by Dr. Eric Ottoo Tetteh on healthy living habits and preventive care. Participants discussed actively, also on topics such as industrial pollution. The Muslim community expressed its appreciation for the initiative. The programme is part of the 'Other Sheep Ministry', which seeks to nurture relationships with other faiths. The goal is to demonstrate the love of Christ through community-centred engagement and social interventions.
