The unshakeable trust of the Prophet Muhammad in Allah, which makes use of material means but places hope exclusively in God's goodness, is the definitive model for the believers in every distress.
The entire Allah has such a trust in Allah that in every hardship and distress he looked only to him and turned his attention away from everything else.
The sermon deals with the trust in God (tawakkul) of the Prophet Muhammad as a central model for the believers. The speaker cites several hadiths in which the Prophet uttered specific supplications and formulas of trust in Allah, such as 'Hasbiya Allahu' and 'Tawakkaltu ala al-hayyil azim'. It is emphasised that the Prophet did not reject material means but made use of them, while directing his trust exclusively to Allah. Through the encounter with Utba ibn Rabi'a, it is shown how the Prophet responded to worldly offers with Quran recitation and unwavering mission. The episode with the uncle Abu Talib, who warned the Prophet of the pressure from the Quraish, is also cited as an example of unshakeable trust. The text serves as an instructive exegesis and encouragement to emulate the Prophet's example in matters of trust in God. No explicit reference to the present is made; the application remains directed at the general practice of the believers.

Sorry. Anleykum Anleykum Tullaa. Last Friday I spoke about the trust in God of the Holy Prophet, sollehalsalam. Today as well we devote ourselves to the same topic. As Abu Dada narrated, that the Holy Prophet urged the believers to have trust in God and said, the one who in the morning and in the evening seven times speaks the prayer, hasbiya Allahu, la ilaha illa Allahu. Alla hitra kaltu wa hua rabbu al-ashilasim. This means, Allah suffices me. There is no one worthy of worship except Him. Upon Him I have placed my trust and He is the Lord of the exalted Throne. The one who says this in the morning and in the evening seven times, Allah will suffice him in everything that concerns him. Regardless of whether he is sincere in it or not. Yes, Lord Prophet, How the Holy Prophet, sollehalsalam himself used to pray for trust in God, is evident from a narration of Hazard Jabir ibn Abdullah, Riddh-e-Tala Nau'ifah. When he prostrated in prayer, he used to say, You are my Lord, my hearing, my eyesight, my blood, my flesh, my bones, my senses have humbled themselves before Allah, the Lord of all worlds. Then it is said in another narration of Hazard Jabir ibn Abdullah, Riddh-e-Tala Nau'ifah. The Holy Prophet, sollehalsalam said, whenever I was worried, Gabriel appeared to me in speech, O Muhammad, say, Tawakkaltu ala al-hayyil azim, la yamutu, alhamdulillahi l'azim, lam yattachis, wa lam yakullahu, shariqun fil munke, wa lam yakullahu, waliyun, bakabbiru takbirah. I have placed my trust in the living Being that will never die, all praise is due to the Mighty, who has not taken a son, who has no partner in His dominion and does not need any support from weakness. And glorify His praise with all power. And from where sohlsil, eski bdair liyan kan, kiya kari. Daus se marvi hai. From Daus it is narrated. He heard from Ibn Abbas that the Holy Prophet, sallallam, when he performed the Tadjet prayer at night, he would say during it, this is a long prayer. I will read the translation, O my Lord, all praise is due to You, You are the Sustainer of the earth and the heavens and even that which is above them. All dominion is Yours, all praise is due to You, Yours is the dominion over the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. And all praise is due to You alone, You are the King of the heavens and the earth and that which is in them. And all praise is due to You, You are the Truth. Your promise is true. The meeting with You is certain. Your word is true. Paradise is true. Hellfire is true. All prophets are true. And also in the Homorhitzelsum is true. And the Hour of Judgment is true. O Allah, I have submitted myself to You, I have believed in You. Upon You I have placed my trust. To You I have turned. Your Dwegen I have taken the struggle upon myself. And from You I have asked for the decision, forgive me for all the weaknesses that I have and that are hidden from me. And that I have also mentioned and shown. You are the Judge and You are the One who can forgive all errors. None is worthy of worship except You. Then the Lord Liebfried, Leila Redoka, says, there is no one worthy of worship except You. This is a narration from Sahih Bukhari. Hast du eben der Basz narrated, that the Holy Prophet Zulam used to say? O Allah, to You I show my obedience, in You I believe, to You I am submitted. Upon You I place my trust and to You I turn. With Your help I face the opponents. O Allah, seek refuge in Your might from that You let me go into the honor. There is no one worthy of worship except You. You are the One who will never be overtaken by death, while Chin and people will die. The gaze of the Holy Prophet was at all times directed solely toward Allah. So one had to write that etalon
the outstanding manifestation of this attribute in the Holy Prophet. He mentioned it in a kind of earth that one no longer has in the time, and the earths that one no longer has in the time, and the earths that one no longer has in the time, and inBy the attribute in the Holy Prophet. He mentioned it in a speech, which is "both problem and responsibility. nd" The entirety of Allah's has such a trust in Allah that he in every hardship and need looked only upon Him and turned his attention away from everything else. There is no doubt that he did not reject the material means, as some might claim too much. Some claim too much that one needs no external means, that trusting only in God is sufficient. No, the Glorious Field employed the means, for the renunciation of the means would be equivalent to a belittling of God's creation. But after he had used the means, he placed complete trust in Allah. And even though the means were used, he did not place his trust in Ezi, but only hoped in Allah's goodness and art, so it is narrated in the Neabass that he in every moment of support spoke: There is no worthy of worship except Allah, the Lord of the exalted Throne. So I trust solely and only in Allah, so it is narrated in the Neabass. Allah is sufficient for us and He is a glorious Protector, this word he spoke over him when he was thrown into the fire. And Muhammad, may one say, has not yet done it, he has not yet done it, he has not yet done it, he has not yet done it, he has not yet done it, and Muhammad, may one say, has also said it when the people said, so those, that something great has been prepared for him, so the disbelievers told him and said therefore, do you present yourself before him, whereupon he said that. The commentators have said that this was either the strike of Uhud or the trench strike or Hamraul Assad. They strengthened them in their faith. And he spoke in Hassbun Allahu Wa Neman Waqil, our sufficiency is Allah and a glorious Protector is He, which is narrated in Sahih Burad. At various places the disbelievers of Mecca tried to disparage the Holy Prophet, to mock him. So they also tried to offer him various worldly means, but the trust of the Holy Prophet in Allah was particularly in this and so was his response thereto. They tried to also distract him with temptations. Ibn-Israq reports about such an incident one day, that is Utbawin Rebiya, a leader of the Quraish in the assembly, while the Holy Prophet was alone in the Holy Mosque. Utbawin said, O people of Quraish, shall I go to Muhammad so that we speak with him? I will present him with some proposals. Perhaps he will accept one of these. We will fulfill his wishes and then he will also stop against us with his proclamation. That was at the time when Hamza had already accepted Islam. The Quraish had witnessed that the companions of the Holy Prophet were becoming more and more from day to day. Therefore the Quraish said, I will do that immediately. Oha Bulvalid, do you speak with him? Thereupon Utbawin went to the Holy Prophet, sat down with him and said, my nephew, you surely know what rank and status one has in the Mosque. You are of high rank and status and you enjoy that. Of what noble lineage are you? Yet you have presented your tribe with an enormous matter that has broken their unity. You have scorned their faith and their idols and declared their deceased ancestors to be disbelievers. Now listen to us well. I will make you proposals so that you take one of them from them. There is my speech now. Speak, Abulvalid, I am listening to you. Utbawin continued, my nephew, if your goal with this call is that it
rich is, in order to attain, then we will pool our wealth and give you so much property that you will be the wealthiest among us. If you seek inheritance and marriage and leadership, we will appoint you as our leader. Then no decision will be accepted without your counsel. If you desire kingship, then we are ready to regard you as our leader and king. And if a jinn has afflicted you or something similar that you cannot ward off from yourself, so there were these doubts that a jinn had somehow taken possession of you, then we will have you treated by the best doctors. And we will ourselves spend the money for that, to the extent that you are completely healed. For sometimes such things happen that must be treated. Utbawin had finished his words. And the Holy Prophet, who was listening to him, then the Holy Prophet said, and he had spoken everything. He said, yes, since he is now on the tongue, then listen to me now. He said, certainly, I am listening. Since he is now on the tongue, the following verses of Sura Ha-Mim Sajda, Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim, Ha-Mim, Danzilul Min Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim, Kitabun Fusilat Ayatun Quranan Arabien, Lekomi Ya-Kil Ya-Lamun, Bashirun Wa-Nazira, Fa'a-Iraza Aksaruhum, Fa'um La Yasma'un, Wa Qalu Kulubna Kinatin, Mimma Tad'un Aile. Ki mei Allah ka Naam Lekar, Bi-Wa-Tkaram Karna Wa-Lal Ba-Ri-Haam Karna. He said, In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate, Hamid and Majid, the Praiseworthy, the Exalted. A revelation from the Merciful, the Compassionate, a book whose verses have been made clear. It is much read. It is a flawless language for people who possess knowledge. The Bringer of glad tidings and warning, yet most of them turn away, so that they do not hear. They say, our hearts are veiled against that to which you call us. It means, it does not touch our hearts. The Holy Prophet continued with the recitation of these verses, Utba listened in silence and with full concentrated attention. He placed both hands behind him on the ground and listened to the Quran with rapture. When the Holy Prophet reached the Ayat Sa'jidah, the Holy Prophet performed Sa'jidah for him. Then he said to Utba, O Abu Ul Valid, you have now heard everything you should have heard. Now the decision lies in your hand. I have listened to you, you have listened to me. Speak the decision now. The complete trust of the Holy Prophet in Allah and his confidence showed a new brilliance in itself every day. History bears witness. After he had given Utba this answer, the Holy Prophet remained steadfast on his path. He did not offer to change or to change his mission, but he said to him, you should change and decide for yourself. And he continued to proclaim Allah's religion. Then the disbelievers gathered together and went to Abutalib and said to him, we had already asked you to restrain your nephew. Yet you did not stop him. Either you make him speak ill of us or we will fight you both, to the extent that only one of the two groups remains alive. When the Quraysh informed Abutalib of this, he had the Holy Prophet called and spoke to him, O son of my brother, do not burden me with a load that I cannot bear. The Holy Prophet thought that his uncle would now turn away his support and deliver him to the Quraysh. The Holy Prophet said, my uncle, by Allah, if these people were to place the sun to my right and the moon to my left, even then I would not desist from my duty. I will continue my task and endeavor until Allah will complete it. Or I will perish in this striving. Then he stood up and went away. Abutalib said to him, O my nephew, say whatever you wish, by Allah. I will not
I agree and I will never hand him over. So, Muslima Reset Al-Anno has also explained this event, a very historical event, and says that when the Holy Prophet began to admonish the people to one of the Alas and to refute the worship of idols, this was most displeasing to the Meccans. Finally, they agreed and approached as a delegation Abutalib, the uncle of the Holy Prophet, and spoke to him. You are the leader of our people. We respect you very much, Abutalib. And out of consideration for you, we have not said anything to your nephew until now. But now all boundaries have been crossed. We have therefore come to you so that you speak with him on our behalf and support us. And then they told him the same thing that I have already mentioned. That is to say, that they offered the temptation of the most beautiful woman, the noblest house, what Utbach has said, Reistum, lordship, and they added that he should at least show so much consideration that he does not revile our idols. We do not demand at all that he believes in our idols. We merely demand that he stops denigrating them. However, should he not agree to any of our proposals, withdraw your protection from him and we will settle accounts with him ourselves. Abu Dahlib was a kind, pious man. He loved the Holy Prophet very much. However, his own leadership was also very close to his heart. He had the Holy Prophet called to him and said, today a people came to me and declared, oh Abu Dahlib, we respect you. And out of consideration for you, we have not done any harm to your nephew until now. But now it has gone too far. If he accepts nothing else, he should at least stop mocking our idols. We are ready to name him our leader. If he wants Reistum, then we are also ready to give him that. What is greater than that he becomes the richest man of Arabia? We are ready to give him that. If he wants a beautiful woman, then we will give him the best of women in marriage. So whatever he wants from us, we are ready to accommodate. He should only stop denigrating our idols. Abu Dahlib had bestowed countless favors upon the Holy Prophet. He had raised him since earliest childhood with deep love and supported him in every Kuma. When the Holy Prophet saw his uncle in this predicament, all of that goodness came to mind. He had tears in his eyes, but he said, oh my uncle. I do not in any way demand that you support me. Feel free to join your people and leave me to my fate. By Allah, even if these people were to bring the sun to my right and the moon to my left, I would never abandon the remembrance of the one God. Look at what great certainty and what firm trust he had in the essence of Alas. Although the deviation of the sun from its course would be such a tremendous miracle that a human being, if it actually happened, would still be deeply astonished by it. But the Holy Prophet himself said, if they were to break the sun from its course and place it before me and do the same with the moon, my trust, my certainty in the essence of Alas is so unshakable that I would merely regard such things as a magic trick. And I would continue to criticize their idolatry and will never abandon my mission. That was complete trust in Allah, that one does not see anywhere else. So, Musiq Mulais Dam has mentioned this event and writes, when the verses were sent down that the idols, which are in an unclean filth, are the worst of creation, described as typical, that is, followers of Satan, in which it says that those who offer them are the fuel for the fire and the flint stones of hell. Darif Abu Talib the Holy Prophet to him and said, O my nephew, now the people of
...very hateful to you, and it is possible that they will kill you and me as well. You called their elders Turkish, the wise ones the worst of creation, and you called their horses and deities firewood and fuel for the hellfire. You called them descendants of Satan and called them unclean. I recommend with goodwill that you be calm and refrain from slander. And stop with the enmity. I do not have the strength to stand against the people. Therefore, Fritz says in response, O my uncle, all of this are no slanders, but rather facts that describe the core of the matter. That is exactly the task with which I have been entrusted. If I should die through this, then I will gladly sacrifice myself and take this death upon myself. My life consists only of this. I will never, out of fear of death, abandon my mission. And O my uncle, if you are concerned about your safety, then you may leave me. By God, I would not need you, for alone is sufficient for me. I will never stop carrying out the instructions of my Lord, which are dearer to me than my life. Even if I should die in the process, then I would wish to be brought back to life again and again, so that I may die again and again on this path. I have no fear. I have an incredibly great blessing in that I experience pain on His path. When the Noble One said these words, a moving calmness radiated from his face, which was permeated by truth. As soon as he was finished with this speech, tears began to flow from Abu Talib, who had seen the light. And he said, I was unaware of your great steadfastness. You are quite special. Continue in your mission, and as long as I live, I will support you to the extent that my strength allows me to do so. On the return to Mecca, there is an incident of trust in Allah. He went to Mecca on the return, and he had to endure hardship on the return. There was no possibility of entering Mecca. A servant accompanied him. This servant was full of concern about what should now happen. But he himself possessed complete trust in his Lord. Ibn Aqil had said, Ibn Haritha reports about this. When I was providing for the Prophet on the return, he told me that he brought the Prophet forward. He said, how do you intend to enter Mecca, where you have been expelled? He answered, with the trust in the most glorious words of God. He said that a way will be opened by Allah. Allah is the supporter of His faith. He will grant His Prophet victory. He said that the Prophet sought the leaders of the Quraysh to place him under their protection and to enable his entry into Mecca. All the leaders refused. This ultimately led to Mutim ibn Adi, who took him into his protection and allowed him to enter Mecca. What examples of trust in Allah were shown during the emigration, that is, the Hijra of the Holy Prophet, when the Holy Prophet received permission to emigrate, further, Ali was assigned a self-sacrificing task in his plan of emigration. He was to sleep that night on the blessed bed of the Holy Prophet and to do so in the same green, according to a tradition also red, Hadrami cloak, as the Holy Prophet used, and in the state of sleep. This is the cloak that was called Hadramitic due to this region. He was to sleep with the cloak that the Holy Prophet used for sleep. His self-sacrificing companionship, he assured him of divine support and said, do not worry and sleep quite peacefully on my bed. The enemy will not even bend a hair on you. Since the truthful and faithfully sent one was also concerned about the goods entrusted to him by the Meccans and harbored a strong sense of responsibility in this regard, he carried
him to return the entrusted goods to the people and then to follow him there. Ali was therefore to come later. Thereupon the Holy Prophet stepped out of his house, while select warriors of the mechanical disbelievers had simultaneously his blood underflowed in the eyes, with drawn swords before the house of the Holy Prophet. Until the night falls and we with a storm attack the Holy Prophet with a single attack God forbid, extinguish the light of life. Abu Jahl, the certain Masin leader, was full of arrogance and mockery. That Mohammed claims, if it succeeds for you to strike him in the sand, you will become kings of the Arabs and non-Arabs. Then you will be raised after your death and for you gardens will be prepared equal to the gardens of Jordan. And if you do not do this? Then discord and enmity will prevail among you. The Holy Prophet went out and said, yes exactly, that is what I proclaim. And then he recited the Surah Yasin. Yasin, the Quran of the General. Yasin, the Quran of the General. Innakal am Masin. Innakal am Masin. Aala siraatim ustakeen. Tanzeez-rahal aziza r-rahip. L bittenzirra kauman ma anzirra aabaakum. Wahum ghafilun. Lakat haqqal qaulo alah aserim. Wahum laiyo minun. The translation reads, The Biss to the chin reach, so that your head is raised high and we have placed a barrier before them and a barrier behind them. We have veiled them, so that they cannot see. The Holy Prophet scattered dust on them, recited this and went away from them. But God's almighty power was that when he went out, no one had seen him. The people kept looking in again and tried to look in and still thought

Sorry. Anleykum Anleykum Tullaa. Denn manchmal passiert sowas, was man behandeln muss. Ibn-A'aqafir had said bin Harzah berichtet hierüber.
