The Press Office of the Archdiocese of São Paulo informs that, contrary to what has been circulating on social media regarding the act called for this Sunday, September 27, in Praça da Sé, there will be no "ecumenical Mass" — an expression, moreover, inappropriate, since no such modality of celebration exists — nor any manifestation linked to the event inside the Sé Cathedral. At 9 a.m., the Sunday Mass will be celebrated as usual, open to the participation of all the faithful, including those who will subsequently take part in the act in the square. The Archdiocese of São Paulo and the Sé Cathedral are not involved in the organization or promotion of the act. For this reason, we inform that there will be no press accreditation at the Cathedral. A Assessoria de Imprensa da Arquidiocese de São Paulo informa que, diferentemente do que vem sendo divulgado nas redes sociais a respeito do ato convocado para este domingo, 27 de setembro, na Praça da Sé, não haverá “missa ecumênica” — expressão, aliás, inadequada, uma vez que não existe essa modalidade de celebração — nem qualquer manifestação vinculada ao evento no interior da Catedral da Sé. Às 9h, será celebrada normalmente a Missa dominical, aberta à participação de todos os fiéis, inclusive daqueles que posteriormente participarão do ato na praça. A Arquidiocese de São Paulo e a Catedral da Sé não estão envolvidas na organização ou promoção do ato. Por esse motivo, informamos que não haverá credenciamento de imprensa na Catedral.
