True Islam is a message of liberation from oppression and material greed, which stands against the use of religion and wealth to justify domination and exploitation.

As a Muslim you are a bearer of a message, a bearer of a message of liberation, a bearer of a message of maturity, and a bearer of a message that stands against oppression

The text analyzes Surah An-Naml, specifically the episode of King Sulaiman and the Queen of Sheba, to clarify the true nature of Islam. The speaker argues that Islam is not a tribal or political instrument of domination, but a message of liberation from oppression and idolatry. Sulaiman's rejection of the gifts is interpreted as a sign that material wealth and political power are not the criterion for true strength or submission. Idolatry is historically exposed as a system of social control and justification of hierarchies, not as naive superstition. This historical analysis is transferred to the present, where money and wealth function as modern idols that fuel social injustice and fear. The text calls for religion not to be used as an identity marker for exclusion, but as an ethical claim for justice and maturity. It is criticized that current political discourses, such as the cutting of social benefits, often take place in the name of wealth and thus in the name of a modern idolatry.

I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. A warm welcome, and it is wonderful that you are here. So, the last part, God willing, of the Tafsir of Surat An-Naml and the story of Sulaiman and Bilqis. And yes, I am myself constantly surprised that when one does not simply read the Qur'an casually and say, yes, yes, yes, here are a few stories and so on, but rather begins to reflect and tries to determine, okay, what does Allah want to tell us with this, and what would it mean if I were to transfer this from the ancient times, in this case 1200 BC when Sulaiman lived, to today. And what I then find, I am myself surprised, what timeless messages and also what ethical and moral demands of the Qur'an on humanity I always find, which is actually always relevant and will remain so. And which shows us much better what Islam is than what we ourselves sometimes think Islam to be, okay. And we have already spoken about where Sulaiman passed through the valley of the ants, then we spoke about the hoopoe, the narrative with the hoopoe, then we spoke about the narrative of Bilqis and who the Queen of Saba was and what she says about it. And now we come to verse 36, that is where we stopped. Last time we said that the Qur'an depicts a very, very positive image of Queen Bilqis as a wise, intelligent, and tactically and strategically extremely skilled ruler, who protects her people, who does not send them into war pointlessly, and so on and so forth. And one of the things was, I said here last time, that she sent all sorts of gifts and treasures and so on to Sulaiman. And this was a test; on the one hand, it is a test, on the other hand, it is also something whereby she can, so to speak, find out what Sulaiman actually thinks of us and how he sees himself in strength relative to us, if you can remember. So, does he see himself as stronger, does he see himself as roughly equal, one can find out with such things, because if he now accepts these gifts, then it is so that he sees himself, so to speak, as perhaps a little stronger, but he also sees that war would cost him very much, and then he says, okay, then I have now, I have, so to speak, extorted protection money from them or I have extorted from them what he extorted, and that fits, that is my gain now. If he sees himself as much stronger, then he goes and says, no, no, that is not enough, I want more from you; and if he sees himself as weaker, then he will of course, then it is foolish if he does such a thing at all. And either way, the gifts would simply be pocketed, so nothing goes back, rather they remain with him, and either he says he wants more or he says, no, that's fine, okay, now, that is in order. It becomes shocking for her, or rather, it will not shock her, but a big question mark is for her, that Sulaiman completely rejects the gifts and rejects them entirely in this regard, and says, here he says, the Qur'an, when the letter from Bilqis came to Sulaiman, he said, "Do you support me with wealth? But what Allah has given me is better than what He has given you. No, rather, you are the ones who are pleased with your gift. So you think you come here with a valuable and wonderful gift and can, so to speak, now close this entire matter, but I will not accept that. And he addresses a message to the letter and says, go back, a moment, where is that? That is, if one is here, why did I not clarify that? Yes. He jah alei him, go back to them, faila na tiyan na hum bi julu na qibala na hum biha wa la na hu adhiyan na hum minha adhiyalatam wa hum sahibun. Return to them, we will certainly come against them to come, against whom they have nothing to oppose, and we will certainly drive them out, humiliated, that is, from their city, as despised. Before we proceed here, so that we may better understand, we must first of all understand what makes Leimander, and why does he feel entitled to simply threaten this city. From our present perspective, where we have a reduced understanding of religion, where we have brought the tribal concept into religion, so to speak, whoever is Muslim belongs to us, is our friend, and we work together with them, and the people who are not Muslims are our opponents, and against them we stand united, and we may also, that is a tribal understanding of religion, so we may then also raid them, take things from them, if we enslave them, my God, in Christianity it is so beautiful, they are unbelievers, and unfortunately we have also adopted this term, although it does not exist at all among us, unbelievers. And if we read the Quran attentively, and also in this particular story, it is not at all about such things, but as a Muslim you are a bearer of a message, a bearer of a message of liberation, a bearer of a message of maturity, and a bearer of a message that stands against oppression, and a land like the land of Belries, in which idolatry prevails, you may recall, I have already told you, the people back then were not stupid, that is not, so only a very small percentage of humanity who were in idolatry truly thought that if they prostrated themselves before these wooden idols or whatever idols, or metal and gold idols, that it would then really bring something, and so on. That was not the case, but it was something, a system that people invented to keep each other under control, to also have a common, in quotation marks, ideology, to have a common identity, to have a common symbol, where one says, there we come together, and so on and so forth. And that this idolatry mostly developed from something that was good, that is to say, for example, some particularly great researcher, a particular scientist, a particularly good person who achieved something wonderful, liberated people, invented something wonderful, brought some strength to the people, and so on and so forth, that person was remembered, and that person was set up as a symbol of the role model and of leadership, and thus over time it became more and more, so to speak, a point of condensation of the common identity, the common community, so to speak, because people are all very, very different, but who are we? We are the descendants of the one who, for example, invented the wheel or invented iron technology, or we are the descendants of the one who invented gunpowder, and so on and so forth, the one who did something special, okay? And that is still the case to this day, we still think in this way, okay? Germany thinks of itself, we are the land of engineers, we are the land of those who have built the best cars and still build them, we are the land of poets and thinkers, and if someone, for example, if now the Chinese come and somehow build a better car than we do, then that is a complete shock for us, because it is, so to speak, our own identity as Germans is thereby called into question, so. We have the right to demand high prices for Mercedes, BMW, and Audi, because we are simply the best at that, and then some Chinese car manufacturer comes along and has perhaps made a better car in parts than we have, and that is something, we would then react very, very emotionally. And idolatry is in principle an external form to demonstrate this. That It is not that people truly believed in it, but rather that it was so, and it fulfilled many functions. Among other things, it also served the function of justifying why there are kings, patricians, and nobles, and why there are people who must serve these individuals, and why at the very bottom there are doormats, the slaves, who may be treated as if they were half-people or not people at all. Okay? And that is precisely what all the prophets stood against. And that is why Soleimann says, here, I will not let you get away with that. To him, you must understand, what you worship is ultimately of no concern to him. But what the consequences of this ideology are, that is not of no concern to him. And so the Muslims, the early Muslims, actually acted accordingly. They came and said, as one Sahabi said, "Jitna Linukhrij," meaning we have come to free the servants of God, or to free people from servitude to other people, and to transfer them into the servitude of God. If you accept this message of liberation and maturity and say, okay, I will do that, then you are a Muslim, and you can also work on our project; if not, no problem, then just stick to your thing. By the way, not only with your thing; it is not only the case that Muslims said, ah, we only accept Christians, we only accept Jews. Later, we also accepted all others. We also mentioned the Zuruptrasse, even though that was not a technically minded, not an established one. If you do not want to, you do not want to. But if you go out and use your religion for the purpose of saying that the emperor is appointed by God’s grace, and whoever resists the emperor resists God. And thereby is a sinner and thereby deserves death, because he has resisted God. That will not do; we will fight against that. That is not, that is an abuse of religion, and that is an abuse of spirituality, and that is an abuse of metaphysics. But if you say, I do not want to believe in Allah and I do not want any of this, then stay in your thing, wherever you want. But if you use your false religion and your false ideology to enslave other people, and to justify the contempt of other people, and the oppression of other people, and violence against other people, then we will stop that. And that is, so we must understand that man, that he goes out and says, you have built a society here in which the rich exploit the poor and are even proud of it. Because they say they do it in the name of God, and in the name of the sun, and in the name of the thing for which one is even persecuted if one says that it is morally wrong. Okay? And we will not let that pass. And that will not do. And there we will fight. And in parts, we are already doing so. That is, all Western societies and the Muslim societies themselves. We do not need to... How is humanity as a whole in the world, how is it doing now? Okay, we may no longer worship some stone and wood and idols, but money is the new, modern idol. And for money, one can justify all sorts of morally bad things, of which we all know that they are morally bad. If Friedrich Merz now says, here, we can no longer maintain our prosperity like this. We must finally dismantle all this social nonsense. It cannot continue like this. We are living beyond our... He does it in the name of what? He does it in the name of money. He does it in the name of prosperity. He frightens us and says, if you, the middle class, if you continue to allow, if we continue to spend so many billions of euros on all the single parents and unemployed and drunks and so on, then it will come back to haunt you. Your prosperity is endangered. And I am the savior who saves you and power... and therefore must choose me. And yes, that is hard. Yes, people will end up on the street. Yes, our society is becoming rougher. But that is the price for our prosperity. That is the price for our money. That is our idol. And we do things in the name of money that we know are not right. And that is exactly where we have betrayed our own religion, because Muslims stand on the side, often of those who support exactly that and who support this narrative. They say, yes, why should we pay for all these people and so on and so forth? And whoever ends up on the street is to blame themselves. They are all drug addicts and this and that and even if. Does it now mean just because he has made a few wrong decisions that we then tell them, okay, then live under the street and so on. And on top of that, when you look at reality, these people are heavily traumatized by some things and that is why they ended up in such a spiral of negativity and became drug addicts and so on and so forth. Not always, but often it is like that. And one says, okay, then we do not allow them to continue destroying themselves, we must catch them a little. Okay. But now to exercise a bit of self-criticism here, we are doing exactly the opposite. Okay. What does Saudi Arabia do? They kill opposition members. They do not only kill them in their own country, they kill them even worldwide. So Saudi Arabia only as an exemplary example, many countries that are Muslim do this, in the beginning, yes. Why do they get away with it? Because precisely the case of Jamal Khashoggi, where they killed him, that was the transgression of all boundaries, so to speak morally, internationally, morally, regardless of whether one is Muslim or anything else, but there is a common world morality. And Saudi Arabia has far exceeded with this case. Why did they still get away with it? Because they did exactly what Melchizedek tried and succeeded with. So they simply bought their way out, so the whole thing. They went to Trump. Anyway, they are, so, forgive me, they are the prostitutes of the USA. Whenever the USA says, do this, they say yes, and do it. Like they say, hey, look, our oil belongs to you, just let us stay in power. And now he then went to the USA, we buy for, I no longer know what, 400 billion euros, weapons we arm you and then the things are naturally done again and no one writes about any consequences. But that could have been something if another country had done it, which could not have fought its way out of this matter. So a regime change, which would even have been supported by the UN, would most likely have been decided upon. And that Saudi Arabia is like that is not only the problem of Saudi Arabia, and that is what I am trying to tell you with this, why Soleimani acts against it. And look, Soleimani, number 1, how is the Muslim, shows us here Soleimani. He could also say, ah, yes, you know Muslims, we are doing well, Jerusalem is under us, we have built the utopia, we have built the ideal society, here the poor always gets money, here security, here this, someone gets divorced, we help, we immediately remarry them, a child is on the street, homeless, zack, zack, proper welfare starts. So, ah, these victims of Belkis and so on, all kuffar, all unbelievers, let them rot in hell and let them just see how it goes for them, if they have to worship the sun there let them fall even deeper and so on. But Soleimani does not say that, they do not belong to him at all, but nevertheless he takes care of them. And that is also right, why? Because if one thinks, a problem is outside of me and it concerns not me, it will not affect me, that is a very short-sighted way of thinking. Because every problem from outside, which perhaps does not directly touch you, will indirectly touch you. Just like Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has been a state of betrayal since its inception. A state that can only exist because they have committed collaboration and betrayal against all principles of the country, principles of Islam, and principles of honor in general, and so on, and of belonging. And because we all do nothing about it, on the contrary, if we do not even speak about what is being exported, what understanding of Islam has Saudi Arabia exported? Because that is how it is, I am telling you now, and for myself, what I am saying is new, because I only grew up with it in parts. Hamdulillah, this mosque saved me from such an understanding of Islam. I came into contact with such an understanding of Islam early on, namely a formal, superficial understanding of Islam. If you are a Muslim, then you must have money here, because then things run like the Prophet’s. A beard, that is still today, if you go into the selfie scene, the first thing you are taught, why is the beard obligatory and how long must the beard be? And that the beard is really about a fist’s length here, and so on. And everything else is not a proper beard, and so on. And if you do not have a beard, then you are actually not a proper Muslim, and so on. And of course, here also musical art. Then you are a Muslim who follows the Sunnah. That the Sunnah is actually something entirely different. Sunnah means that the Prophet stood up against every injustice, using his time, his money for it. To every weak person, every oppressed person, every marginalized person, every despised person, they were to be reached. Even if you are looked at askance for it. Even if people say, hey, who is Dada hanging out with? Why is he going around with them, and so on? That is what happened to the Sunnah of the Prophet. That is why he was so excluded in Mecca and fought against. Not because he destroyed the idols. We know, from Kulia, Joel Kaffee Run, that the Meccans at the end were even ready to say, hey, okay, we will all only worship Allah for one year and then you will worship the idols with us. What was the background of this story? The background is, do not change our society. We want to continue to have slaves. We want to continue to treat them as we please. We do not want to grant them their autonomy. We want to continue to have prostitution. We want to continue to be able to force our slave women into prostitution. And so on and so forth. And the Prophet said, no, we will not do that. And the Prophet s.a.w.t. and of course the Quran. The Quran, because at some point the pressure becomes so great that the Prophet sometimes says, oh, why can we not accept that? And then the revelation always comes and says, no, that is not possible. That is a matter of principle. Okay, so that is not just simple. Suleiman does not simply come and say, ah, there is an incredible people. That is an idolater. Because they are idolaters, we will now bring them onto the right path through compulsion and through force and through violence. No, it is about the fact that every falsehood, every wickedness justifies itself. And against these falsehoods and wickednesses you must stand up. And then also break these justifications at some point. Okay, so. And what? So and we do that to this day as well, right? Normally, we have the UN, we have the United Nations, to enforce human rights and democracy. So human rights and democracy, I mean Hamdolle, we are now sitting in an audience where we can say, we are all in agreement that human rights and democracy are a good thing. We do not have to discuss it. And if you want to know more precisely, we can to also give a lecture on this at some point, to what extent all of this is congruent with Islamic values and similar, and so on and so forth. But what do countries like Saudi Arabia, or many other countries, do? They do what Belgis does, saying, okay, please just let us, let us keep our monarchy, let us keep our human rights violations, let us keep our dictatorship, and we buy our way out of this matter. And we do this not only there, we are doing it now with the Uyghurs and, of course, now also with the Palestinians. But with the Uyghurs it is particularly bad, because many Muslim states lean on China to defend themselves against the repression from the USA, okay? Because they are, so to speak, seeking protection from the USA, in China. Therefore, many Muslim states sided with China when, at the time, in the UN, in the UN at the time, it was accused, hey, the way you treat the Uyghurs, that is not acceptable, and we are imposing sanctions on China, and so on and so forth. That is nothing other than what Surremen does. So nowadays we have the teaching life in a system where violence is very, very far delayed. At that time, there was no such thing as sanctions and so on, the fight. So there was an exchange of opinions, and not even that, because the opinion was also often suppressed, and so on, and then it very quickly came to a fight, but this fight was very local. Nowadays, a fight and violence are very, very unpredictable and very, very global. Therefore, we have a system where violence comes very late, but that does not mean that one does not still have to fight and face inconveniences. So, and man

A'udhu Billahi Minash Shaitanirajim, Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. Okay. Was macht Saudi-Arabien? Okay, so. Und was?
