In Berlin. Man muss immer alles überwählen. Und am Ende des Tages, wir werden das ein bisschen mehr machen. right after the attack, there was a community mourning at the Band & Bogator, we were there. And this was not with politicians, because it was actually organized by the D-Dwar Dykes, which is a Dyke choir. And generally, it was very, very much Dyke-led. And for example, the Dyke March, Orga held a speech there, of which I was also a part. And Ferdor Brindt, who is the internal affairs minister, or secretary of internal affairs, who was just like they didn't even mention that it was an attack on queer people. It was just like, yeah, this is a very grave attack. And yeah, it's an attack on us all. On freedom, on the open society, on the liberal constitution of our land. I have a quote from our dear Fritz Friedrich Merz here, because it's just as milk toast, as you can imagine. It's genuinely sort of they hate our freedom. He said, like on the Saturday afterwards, after he attend, or like, I'm not sure if before, or after attending a mourning service in the church, with like the mayor of Berlin, who's a conservative as well and stuff like that. He gave a statement, and pretty much it boils down to, we will defend the freedom, openness and liberalism of our lives and our society with everything we can. And we will do so together. We will not allow the poison of terrorism and this poison that threatens our freedom to continue to infiltrate our society. They hate our freedom. In the last part I editorialized. Infiltrate our society. Infiltrate the society like you fucking asshole. Yeah, but it's literally, you know, it's German people that are doing German things in Germany. I talked to a Lebanese Frenchist, they go and he was like a guy who converts randomly from Shia to Sunni and is done radicalizing in this way. This is such a German thing, it would never happen in Lebanon. As I understand, he wasn't even able to speak Arabic. Not able to speak Arabic. How he's growing up in Germany, he's only hanging out with Germans. Yeah, but you know again, it does the service to the conservice because it allows them to, inside the hatred, that they have been stoking for so long. But the only thing that you could say is that he was successful in Lebanon. He was like a sentence for inciting sectarian hatred and in Germany like they are politically campaigning on his sectarian hatred. That's the real internationalism. Yeah, it's like the city where they talking like, in the press conference in the morning, Friedrich Merz say that it's not only about the queers here, all of us and the whole of the open society and so on. And they always taking it out of our hands and they are trying to, when he talks about openness or freedom here, it means free market and so on. Yeah, and that's also the liberalism. It's the liberalism to choose what you want, but that they have been cutting queer initiatives and funds. Queer initiatives against queerphobic violence, for example. Yeah, anti-radicalization programs. They have been cutting those and now they are standing there going like, we need more security. Well, fuck it, you should have just kept on funding all of these things. I don't think that would have helped with that one specifically. But if you want to stop the next generation and also maybe stop some Nazis or some neo-Nazis. Also, like this is also something you could add. There were like one big neo-Nazi demonstration under the name of there are only two genders. No, it's a little bit difficult to translate in English, but it says there are only two genders and the gender is in German. And then it says stop the genders and it's in English. The second genders is in English. Why? Because it is a German thing. We have the English word of gender, but it is an import, right? And now we have the German word geschlächt. This is the same as gender, but it's the German word. And all the far-right people, they always use gender to talk about the evil things, like the trans people, the women, so on and so on. And the good things is the geschlächt. This is German, this is German, this is the good thing. This is proper geschlächt, only two of them, only man and woman, only... ...ritionary style. Exactly. And then the other thing is all gender. This is gender, gender, gender. It's the gender ideology. Speak not of neutrum. Gender ideology is something like... ...and they would always also obviously then say it in this German way, where they say gender. Like in the hard G. They don't... It's always funny, you can make so much fun out of them and I'm asking just because of like a gander. Take a gander at the gander. It's the gander at the ideology. Yeah, exactly. But there was no more fun. There was this neo-Nazi organization, like Stopped Genders, only two genders. And they were to Christian Fundamentalist Demonstrations too. Yeah. Only Jesus Christ leads the path to eternity and stuff like this, was their slogan. I was about to say shining path, but that's something incompletely deterrent. It's not at all related. It only sounds the same. Yeah, they actually only arrested one of the Nazis, as I understand. Yeah, they arrested one of the Nazis only. Yeah, but it's this thing where it's like they all stand there and also Karin Prin, which is like minister for families and youth and stuff like that. She's at the forefront of cutting like networks like Lambda. Demokratie, Leben, Action Plan, Queer Life. But they have now decided to relocate more of the funding from Demokratie, Leben, like Living Democracy, which is like a democracy. It's basically the subsidies for the PMC. Yeah. And they are like, yeah, no, we are going to put more into the sort of like anti-terrorism charge, which is fun, which is just like, they are not even raising the budget. They are just redistributing it internally, which is just like, yeah, maybe just raise the budget. Again, maybe it helps with the neo-fascist. No, but they want to have like the under control of their Christian fundamentalist friends. That's what they are planning. Of course they want that. And like you have also people like Julia Glöckner, who is like the president of the parliament in Germany, who like after they came into power, one of the first things they said was like, oh yeah, you know, we're not going to run the LGBT flag during Pride anymore. We're not like a circus tent. And then now she's put it on half mast. The German flag, they still refuse to run the Pride flag. Yeah, it's not the Pride flag on half mast, it's the German flag on half mast. That's the amount and the extent. Because it's not only the queer people that were here, but all of society and the openness and freedom and the liberty of the market. Just imagine how bad straight people attended Pride would feel if somebody ran a Pride flag because an attack on a Pride event. Yeah, that would be terrible. Yeah. And I mean, this is a continued threat or like a continued action that they have been pursuing for like the last year, the year and a half ever since they came into power. Yes, for example, like shortly before Pride weekend, it was published that in Seelendorf, which is like the rich quarter of Berlin. They've stopped a drag queen story hour. I believe that the American audience might have something to say about that. Yeah, it happened right before Christopher Street Day. And now the people who stopped it, I know like we are feeling so bad for the queer people. I cannot imagine. They only feel bad about our dead bodies when they can instrumentalize it. Exactly. It's just, did you know that actually Germany is number one for rising hate crimes against queer people? Yeah. Yeah, it's just ever since 2010, it's gotten worse and worse and worse and worse. And whenever it's been a far-right attack, they don't care. But yeah, drag storytime in the US, for everybody from the US knows, just sort of like, oh my gosh, they're so fearmongering. They're going to corrupt our children. It's going to be bad. We can't have this in public. But it's celebrated at CSD when there's drag. That's part of, oh, our liberalism, but you don't want it in your library, not in front of the kids. There were also plenty of like conservative Christian influences who said stuff like, aha, now the queers for Palestine are being teach the lesson. And now they have to realize that the devil is on the other side. And they also said like, you cannot, you know, it's a contradiction in this liberal world where you want to open all the borders and let in all this perverted, aggressive guys. And then you want to do like drag story hours. And how, you know, it's impossible to, you have both, you know, you have to choose. Yeah, it's either or. But obviously they want to ban both. Yeah, yeah, obviously. Because like, in the end of the day, the only brand of authoritarianism they are accepting is their own. And that is also something that is like, they've even claimed that queer people might be too privileged at this stage and shit like that. And I mean, like we are not necessarily the biggest friends of her, but Nikoslavik, a trans girl who's a member of parliament for the Green Party. For the Green Party. She recently actually warned of attacks against the CST. She specifically warned of neo-nazi attacks because that is a thing, because for example in NRW, which is the west of Germany, I think it was Düsseldorf, they had to cancel a Pride because it was under threat. And well, you know, when she was saying that, obviously the neo-fascist AFD or like in parts neo-fascist or fascistoid, because like Liberals in Germany and stuff like that, they laughed when they, when she was saying like, yeah, you know, like there is attacks and they were hackling her and yeah. I'm not sure how it was for you, but for me this was just like, like I was surprised that the attack came here in Berlin, but I am not surprised that there was an attack. It was also not in my opinion the first attack. No, no, they were like only two weeks ago was, it was not on Christopher Street Day, but there was school shooting only two weeks ago with a former student attacking a school in Bavaria und dann posting a manifesto or a manifesto was found later where he was talking all kind of queerphobic, women hating, anti-symetic, racist things. And there was clearly motivated by that, but in like, in the end there, we did not even say like, okay, there was like a queerphobic or anti-women, anti-Jewish racist motivation, they were just talking about how sad school shooting. Yeah, and how sad that it was, like our youth has really lost its path, like look at that, they now result in school shootings and there was no... The only way they can express their grievance about degeneration of our society is to that. It's the same as in the US. If it is a cute little white boy, they own this like, oh my gosh, this troubled youth, but if this person happens to be a BIPOC, a citizen born and raised, and it's sort of like, oh yeah, this is just... ...the same deal. In the state ceremonies, everybody is crying in front of a church. It is very important that it is a church because it is an Islamist attack after all. Weren't that where the mainstream m
